An easy walk from the train station (which is bright and airy). It is in the recently-developed harbour-side area. From first impression (free upgrade) to check-out (swift) it was a great experience. The gym is large and well-equipped (for a hotel). I saw the pool from the

There's plenty on offer at the continental section. Saying that the full breakfast was one of the best we've had in any hotel. I had freshly prepared eggs Royale and then some other bits from the hot buffet which was all first class. Suppose it depends how hungry you are. If you want lighter but lots of choice the continental should be enough

I think continental £13 and full breakfast £15 per person. I stayed recently and thought the standard had reduced and the hot food was not very appealing and the buffet was quite limited and we got hard cold toast delivered. We went 5 mins walk next day to Butterfly Cafe on Commercial Street and we both had fresh toasted scones and coffee for £9 in total.
