We were so warmly welcomed by Olwyn and Barrie. They seemed to truly enjoy each guest. They are quite knowledgeable about places to visit, and they helped us plan memorable days. The house is huge and beautiful, if a bit cluttered. The best night was when our hosts made a fire for us in the fireplace. We had dinner one...

This was our 2nd "tour de B&B" in Scotland. 2 years ago we spend 2 days with Olwyn and Berry, and had such a good time that we had to come back for 2 days more. Olwyn and Berry are really nice hosts in all possible ways. They are the kind of hosts you really want if you are looking...

We had a very enjoyable two night stay at Duntrune House. This was our first lodging in Scotland and we could not have chosen a nicer place to start our trip. Barrie and Olwyn are wonderful B & B owners and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable. They are friendly, intelligent and helpful in the most positive...

Very nice house, with very big rooms and a wonderful garden, conveniently located at only 10 minutes drive from the city centre. We really appreciated, specifically, the attitude of the owners, who treated us more as friends than as guest (we were also driven to a nice tour to see places around that would have never found by ourselves). Breakfast...

We had a wonderful stay at Duntrune House. Lovely Victorian house with tons of history shared by Olwyn and Barry Jacks every morning over a wonderful Scottish breakfast with home made jams, jellies and preserves. Interesting to search for the historical quirks about the building. Every detail was looked after for us from sites to see and how to get...

The proprietors, Barrie and Olwyn, are extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms were of generous size with very comfy beds and a large ensuite bathroom. Olwyn and Barrie invited us to tea in their cozy sitting room warmed by a fireplace and then suggested we go out to dinner together. Afterwards, they took us on a personal tour of Dundee...

I would recommend Duntrune as a very comfortable, relaxing place to stay. Olwen & Barry are ideal hosts as they are very friendly and welcoming and its obvious that they really enjoy what they do. My friend and I booked their 'Recharge your batteries' weekend and it certainly did that. The treatments with Alison were lovely and the painting sessions...

Unfortunately this B&B was a little too far away for my purpose, an error on my behalf. The house itself is an imposing older style of builidng set amoungst the woods with delightful views. The couple who own and run Duntrune house, are smashng. They have a super attitude to their guests, putting themselves out to give any assistance to...

The door problem that Chrissie had was on her hired car which had child locks on the back doors. As is often the case with hired cars, the instruction manual was missing leaving us to resort to trial and error which fortunately bore fruit.

Located on beautiful grounds in the country yet just minutes from the city of Dundee (which was also beautiful and full of history and evidently hasn't gotten a fair shake in the travel books). Twenty minutes from St Andrews golf course and historical sites, many more castles located for short day trips. Barry and Olwyn shared the history of the...
