My wife and I stayed here for new year. We struggled to find the place or rather the entrance which is not clear if you come from Arthurs seat. This is a conference centre in the halls of residence but is a brilliant place to stay. We stayed 2 nights, the rooms are excellent, the common areas are fine, staff...

the hotel is in fact converted from ex student accomodation and at the time of visiting was still being decorated. However the rooms were clean and fresh and the breakfast excellent with a great selection of both hot and cold . We also ate in the restraunt and can whole hartedly recommend this for the qualirt of the food

I've given this hotel/ B &B a four star review not for the double room that I stayed in for one night, which was small but clean, but for the convenience of the location and the bountiful breakfast which awaited me the next morning. The hotel was receiving some renovating while I was there, the main hallway in fact, it...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to visit the Christmas markets and do some shopping. The hotel is situated within the grounds of the University looking onto Arthur's Seat on the edge of Holyrood Park with frequent bus services available to the city centre , a journey of about 10 minutes. Our room although basic had comfortable...

Booked this place as our usual hotel was fully booked. The pictures on the web site where we booked this hotel look completely different. This place is student accommodation inside an educational centre of some sorts. Good points, nice friendly welcoming reception staff, again nice staff in the restaurant where we had breakfast, the bed nice an big and very...

Hotel reception friendly and efficient but that's about where the good news ends. The rooms although clean are fairly small and basic. However this is not where the problems really lie. The sounds which you can hear from other guests are truly epic. Our neighbours had a hair dryer on and it sounded although we had guests in our bathroom...

We've stayed here for 2 nights in the deluxe room. We were more than pleasantly surprised when we entered the lovely spacious room. Coffee making facilities are excellent with cafetière and nice coffee. The breakfast is lovely and more than enough choice for everyone. All the staff were absolutely amazing. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The bus stop is...

What a wonderful little find this was! Gorgeous hotel. Large room, clean and comfortable. Lovely modern bathroom. All staff were excellent and check in was very efficient! Breakfast was fantastic - one of the best I've ever had in any hotel! Highly recommended. Also about £8/9 in a taxi to central Edinburgh and a 15 minute bus ride, so ideally...

My wife and I stayed here for one night for our first visit to Edinburgh. We chose this place for its relatively low price and decent reviews on here. We were slightly apprehensive, given its campus location, that it would be a bit 'student digs' for us, but we needn't have worried. The campus location means its within walking distance...
