Well looking back on the other reviews I can only agree with all the comments. We stayed for 3 nights in a garden view room at the front of the hotel. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. You could have literally eaten your dinner from the bathroom floor. The bed was super comfy too. The breakfast was emmense...

This was really a great start of our holiday!! Heather and Ian a really the best hosts ever. The B&B is in really good shape! Everything in detail was great, the B&B itself, the rooms, breakfast and maybe the most important thing..... The service!!! If you want to feel at home when you traveling this is the right place to stay. You would be taken care of from your very first contact with the hotel. The owner of the guest house, very nice and kind lady Heather will meet you any time, will arrange you a tea if you're tired or got cold or...

My husbond and I stayed with Heather and Ian for four nights and we had a wonderful time. The room was bright and beautiful decorated with at view to green areas. The facilities were perfect and Heather made sure that our waterbottles were kept in the fridge. The breakfast was the best we had in our two weeks stay in...

Me and my partner stayed here for the Edinburgh Fringe comedy festival, and upon arriving we met Heather, who is lovely, cheerful, and gracious. Very nice B&B in a quiet neighbourhood about fifteen minutes walk from the city centre. Room was a little bit small but clean and cosy. Nice bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. The owner Haether is such a lovely person.

From the moment you walk in and are greeted by Heather you feel right at home. The rooms are large, immaculate, quiet, welcoming and the bed is very comfy. We were given coffee, water and shortbread as soon as we arrived along with an opportunity to ask questions about Edinburgh and the surrounding area. We were provided with maps, directions...

Very clean, the bed was really comfortable. Excellent location to walk the city. Our hosts were fantastic and very helpful with recommendations on the sights not to miss in our tour of Edinburgh. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

The Hedges Guest House is located on a quiet frontage road next to a main road. The entrance is a charming gated courtyard at 19 Hillside Crescent in the middle of private residences. Great location (close to city centre and bus stop), lovely and convenience facilities, reasonable price, delicious breakfast, and kindly service from the host Heather. If I revisit Edinburgh, I will choose The Hedges again.
