Two Hillside Crescent is a very special place and I couldnt recommend it enough for anyone visiting Edinburgh. The setting of an old Georgian house is fabulous but there is nothing old about rooms in that they are as modern and cosy as can be and we definitely felt like we were in the lap of luxury while staying there....

Quite simply the most gorgeous B&B. I had a wonderfully large room with a very comfortable bed. The hospitality was exceptional and the breakfast really spot on, with a wide choice and beautifully presented. I just need to find another excuse to go to Edinburgh soon! Although it wasn't exactly in the centre, it certainly was near enough, just a...

We loved this B & B, our room was huge. As a family of four we were lucky enough to book the main bedroom on the first level with great big windows overlooking the crescent. With all of our luggage and a bed each for our two boys there was still lots of room. The king-sized bed was the most...

We were made very welcome, the room was fabulous, huge bed, very comfy. Breakfast was lovely but could have been bigger. Brilliant location, close to the centre of Edinburgh but far enough away for it to be quiet. Near to the Omni centre too which is full of bars and restaurants. Had a very relaxing weekend and would certainly stay...

This is what I have long been searching for in Edinburgh - a perfect escape after a long day and close to the heart of the city. The service offered by Elaine and her team is genuine hospitality at its finest and a number of other establishments could do well in following the example set at Two Hillside Crescent. I...

Stayed at Hillside for three nights and it was absolutely fantastic - exceeded our expectations and is in no way a stuffy B&B. Room was lovely, modern, clean, large, bright and cheery. Great bathroom with all the facilities and mod cons. Breakfast was excellent and the hostess Elaine is very helpful, friendly and always has a smile. I would HIGHLY...

Stayed two nights. Weather was wild outside but our host, Elaine, was warm and welcoming. The hotel is a beautiful Georgian home of truly grand proportions. The bedrooms are very spacious and clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We had a room at the back of the property and it was very very quiet. Bathroom was large, modern and...

Our stay at 2 Hillside Crescent came about because my husband wanted to finish our busy 2 weeks of travel in luxury. This B&B is excellent in every way. Elaine was gracious and accommodating throughout our stay and her high standard of service always apparent. The home is kept immaculately clean. Fresh and healthy breakfasts were presented as deliciously as...

Two Hillside Crescent is a beautifully restored Georgian Townhouse in the centre of Edinburgh offering luxury accommodation within a short walking distance of Princes Street and many city attractions. Its relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, convenient location and attention to detail make it ideal whether you’re stay is for business or leisure. We believe the two most important things about a Bed & Breakfast are indeed the Bed and the Breakfast. That is why all our beds are equipped with luxury linen, goose down duvets and Vi Spring mattresses to simply guarantee a great nights sleep (doubles are at least king sized and over 6’6” in length). Our delicious breakfast includes fresh seasonal fruit, homemade preserves and a choice of cooked breakfast all using responsibly sourced local, organic and free range produce. ... more   less
