Arrived early with the intention of leaving our car and booking in later. However Pawel on reception booked us in early and made our trip easier. Room was spotless .. breakfast was buffet style and a bit of a let down. Would stay again due to handy location.

Stayed here again after previously staying in August 2022. Was just the same in that as long as you don't expect the world it is a great little place to stay. The location is second to none in that it is on quite a lot of bus routes into and to other parts of the city and there is a small shopping centre nearby. The only downside was being woken up by the laundry at around 0700 hours every morning but it kind of did act as an alarm clock so we were not too bothered! Had a meal which was good value on our last night before heading into the city and will probably be back in the not too distant future.

We chose this hotel due to having onsite parking as the majority of city hotels either had none or a small amount of spaces or had to pay in a car park which would be expensive. The location was a 15 minute bus ride into the city which was served by regular buses throughout the day /evening and very easy to navigate around the city. The hotel is situated on a busy junction of which you can hear traffic from the room if facing the main road . I would advise wearing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but you do get used to it. The room was basic but comfortable & clean. Breakfast was fresh and lots to choose from. The staff are very friendly and welcoming too.

Room Tip: Leave the car at the hotel and use the buses. Tap and go which is capped per day. Brilliant...

Me and my friend spent 3 nights here. The staff was really nice. Clare and Pawel were especially riendly, attentive and informative. We found our room to be impeccable. My friend is very finicky about these things and even she found it to be spotless. A little away from the center but I found this to be a plus. Had a great time going around the green spaces in the mornings. Would recommend.

I chose this Travelodge because it had a car park. Seems that the number of spaces available does not cover the number of rooms. I was going to be arriving late each night so was initially directed to a side street which l was unwilling to do. So myself & others parked on grass or wherever we could squeeze in.

Stayed as close to the Commonwealth pool and both the city centre. On a main bus route so very easy to get too and from and within walking distance of restaurants. Shopping centre across the road with coffee shop and supermarkets.

Stayed here for two nights, one of the better Travelodges that I’ve stayed in. Room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and the food was better than expected and at a decent price as was the drinks. There is also a decent sized car park which is free. The hotel is about a mile from the city centre but is on a main road with plenty of buses into town so you can leave your car at the hotel.

I stay in most Travelodge hotels with work. They put me and my work colleague above the cafe and decided to clean it during the night. Kept us both awake (2 rooms) Raised with managers they said we’re getting refunded only 1 room got refunded after 5 calls and promises. Not great customer service left disappointed will try other Edinburgh hotels in future

Where to begin. Firstly an easy last minute online booking as I wasn't expecting to be staying. Got there about 45mins early and the lovely staff member allowed me to check in.... de stressing my mind a little. The room was a twin on the 1st floor. Everything was as expected. Clean, tidy and basic, just what I needed. Comfortable enough bed, with a bit of noise outside, but expected as it's on a busy road!. The stand out of my stay was the staff. The 4 people I had communication with were so kind and compassionate and did so much for me to make my time less stressful, they are wonderful people
