Prestonfield House is an absolutely beautiful property, with bags of history and set in a perfectly manicured garden. The staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful and can't do enough to make your stay, no matter how brief as enjoyable as possible.

We sadly only stayed one night when visiting Edinburgh for the Rugby. The hotel was fantastic they were so accommodating and had all the comforts of home. The Rhubarb restaurant was superb! Staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Hi, yes it's dog friendly. As per previous comment Raven the cat is definitely not scared of dogs, and just stands it's ground! Doesn't belong to the hotel but is a regular visitor. The only place dogs are not allowed is in the restaurant, but you can eat in other rooms with your dog as long as other guests don't object. There is an enclosed dog run in the grounds.
