My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and it was very pleasant. The location is 30 mins walk from either Waverley or Haymarket and 10-15 mins from the end of Princes Street. There are some lovely restaurants within 15 mins walk to Stockbridge....More

The hotel may be situated a little way out the centre but all the better for it. Set in a quiet residential street the beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet ..... a short taxi ride or a pleasant unhurried stroll into the city...More

Happened upon Channings by chance - it's New Town, overlooking Learmonth Gardens to the front and has steep gardens to the rear. The hotel is converted from several properties and has been tastefully done, with a ll the quirkiness that this suggests. A lovely lounge...More

Yes, but, the elevator is a bit small. However, it should be adequate for your needs. Have fun!!
