Room was very clean, bed comfy, shower lush. Ate in hotel in the evening, food was very nice, no complaints. Staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for you. Just around the corner from a bus terminus with a bus every ten minutes into the city. Great fitness centre as well. Top marks!

We were welcomed by a friendly reception. We got a room designated to the front. Both evenings were partying in a room downstairs organized and it did give a lot of noise especially later in the evening. The last night they make a long-time until 02:00 a quarrel, at 05.30 we must wake up, so this was no fun. I...

I recently stayed at the hotel with a group for my friends Hen party. There was nothing exceptional about the stay. The hotel is nice, rooms are clean, spacious and have good quality appliances. The location is good, it was the most suitable well priced hotel that could be booked for our large group, there is a bus stop right...

Dear Sarah F, Thank you for your candid and constructive review. Am currently at the Capital hotel and am pleased with my choice. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms are a nice size with a comfortable bed and tidied daily. The breakfast is nice and as much as you can eat. For the athletic type there is a free gym to guests as well as a pool. The...

I stayed here on business and its location in relation to the city centre is excellent. The staff are friendly and the rooms are bright and comfortable! One improvement would be the variety of good available on the room service menu! If you are tempted to try room service, avoid the pizza; it's horrendous!

We had booked this hotel for a few days as we visited the capital . We had selected this hotel as it offered car parking and distance from the city centre would not be a problem as we both have bus passes . The local bus stop is just around the corner . Our room was on the lower ground...

I wondered if I'd been at the same hotel as your other guests. Yes, the bus stop is handy and frequency of buses and cost £1.50 into Edinburgh makes this a value for money hotel. The distance from the Centre of the City means that the hotel should be capitalising on that through providing far better quality of meals than...
