This place is fantastic! The location is perfect, near the corner of Princes Street and Hanover Street just down from the Royal Mile with your own private door entrance. You are basically within 1 mile walking distance from anything you may wish to see in Edinburgh. Within 3 blocks of the flat you have scores of restaurants to choose from...

The reason these apartments receive only excellent reviews will become clear the moment you step in: they are spacious and beautifully decorated and comfortable. And I don't think the location could be better. What a wonderful home base to have in Edinburgh! My tiniest of niggles would be that the entryway and hallway don't quite match the standard of the...

We were two couples visiting Edinburgh for one week in May, 2013. We booked flat 2 at 21 Hanover Street. It was perfect for the four of us. The kitchen was ideal for two wonderful cooks. The only difficulty we had was figuring out some of the appliances but all the books were available with instructions. We had a lovely...

Had a terrific time in this beautiful city; the apartment is beautifully furnished and spacious and its central location is perfect to explore tourist attractions and terrific restaurants. It is no more than a 15 minute walk from The Royal Mile, and a 10 minute walk from Waverley Station and the bus stop or the AirLink from the airport. The...

Our family of seven (including 3 kids) have recently returned from a two-week stay in the UK, three nights of which were spent in Edinburgh at 21 Hanover Street. We took over flats 2 & 3 and appreciated an ultra smooth check in, clean and well made up rooms and an ideal location. In short, we never wanted to leave!...

It is central to so many things, including Waverly Station, Princes Street shopping, and the Royal Mile. The kitchen in...

That is absolutly the perfect place to saty in Edinburgh. I stay in flat 3 with 2 friends in July. The flat is exactly like the pictures on the website. It is clean, spacious and perfectly equiped. Staying in Princes Street and Gardens

Neighbourhood Profile
Princes Street and Gardens
Glaswegians tease Edinburghers that their High Street is only half one, since buildings only line one side. But what they don’t say is how extraordinary the views are from Princes Street as a result. From here you look onto expansive and decorative public gardens beneath the mighty basalt cliffs on which Edinburgh’s Castle stands proud above the rest of the dramatic old town skyline. Yet many of those on Princes Street look the other way, as they’re concerned with chain store shopping or catching the tram or a train at main train station Waverley. But it’s not all utility here; the Scottish National Gallery rewards purposeless wandering, and December’s huge winter market in the gardens begins a season of revelry which ends with Hogmanay, Britain’s largest New Year’s street party.
