Me and two friends stayed here just for one night, we were happily surprised to find how lovely it was for such a small price. We booked through visit Scotland and didn't expect a room half as nice for £70!! Breakfast was ok, good choice. It was very handy that there was not a lock out time. The room was...

Catriona is an incredibly welcoming, friendly, helpful and wonderful hostess. As a solo traveler, my ensuite room was large and comfortable with a view of Arthur's Seat. Breakfast was delicious. Located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood about a 20-30 minute walk from City Centre, or catch a bus which stops just a short walk from the B&B. Parking is free...

The first day when we arrived, she even offered us the jackets as she was afraid we did not wear sufficient clothes as it is windy and with intermittent shower. The room which we stayed in, although there may not be sufficient luggage space for 4 people, is...

Rosevale is situated about 45 minutes walk or a 10-15 minute taxi ride to the city centre. Catriona was very helpful and informative about transport in the local area and helped us to organise a Taxi company for the following...

I found this hotel through VisitScotland.com (recommended for any Scotland plans). It is a bit away from the city center (20 min walk) but in a very calm and nice neighborhood. There is also a bus to Princes street. You can also see Arthur's Seat from the room window. The landlady is very helpful. We had a lot of chats...

A good choice convenient to Pollock Halls and to town. Clean, comfy, helpful advice on getting about and great scrambled eggs. This was a good choice for a family taking their child to uni or visiting them there.

You can also take a bus, but we always walked, it was a comfortable walk. The host is very nice, ready to give all kind of advice.
