My partner and I stayed at the Regis Guest House last year and would not return. The location is fairly central and although the hotel is fairly cheap, it is definitely not worth it. We were quite happy to stay in a basic room which is what we got - it is fairly old-fashioned but the room was clean and...

Shabby & tired room, cold bathroom, but fairly spacious for a family of 4. Nice breakfast. Really doubt I will ever want to return again, even though you are unlikely to get anything for 65£ a night anywhere else.

I feel that some reviews here are unkind. My family and I stayed for 3 nights. We found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was complimentary and superb. The room was very dated and in need of a complete refurb, but it had comfortable beds and was REALLY cheap and central. The area immediately around the...

It was pouring outside, and I was with my parents. Didnt know beforehand that the check in is at a different place, so my parents stayed inside the 57 address (a nice cleaning lady let us in since she saw us trying to seek shelter from the rain) and I ran in the rain to check in. Aware that check...

We stayed one night in double bed room at £80 per night. The guesthouse is located in central area so we can easy walk to other parts of central city. There is no parking as advertised, but the staff is kind enough to pay parking fee for street side parking until 8am in the morning. The house looks nice while...

Some people's expectations are very unrealistic...if you want the Hilton, book the Hilton but don't expect to pay £25 a night and receive 5* accommodation... The rooms were perfect for what we needed them for, they were clean and staff were pleasant, cheap and cheerful!

Not somewhere you'd want to recommend to others. I didn't experience leaks or anything of that nature, but the place doesn't feel clean. The kind of place that makes you closely examine the linens, put the bedspread to the side and exit quickly in the morning. I would not seek out accommodations at this B&B again. To their credit, the...

Stayed in family room having only 1 bathroom but bathroom door doesn't closes completely. It was very embarrassing with whole family. Seems windows are not double glazed. You can hear traffic noise. Room was very small for family. Will not come again.

Well the manager is probably one of the most ignorant people I have ever met. We were staying there 3 nights and had a leak the 2nd day . It poured from the light on the ceiling ontop of the bed. Rang the manager to let them know. We got no apology for all the inconvenience caused and he never...
