Had another two days in Edinburgh to visit the theatre and stayed once again with Liz at Brights Bed and Breakfast. Liz gave us a hearty welcome as usual. Really enjoyed our stay, took a £3.50 bus ticket each day which gave us unlimited bus travel, what a bargain. We had a lovely couple of days. Thanks Liz, we will...

Stayed two days and nights in Brights Bed and Breakfast. Great place to stay, very central, we just parked the car and took the bus round Edinburgh. Room very comfortable and WARM. We spent a lovely couple of days here in September. It's a really homely B&B and Elizabeth is a fantastic host. Her breakfasts are wonderful! We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Edinburgh!

A lovely little family run guest house, Elizabeth provides a great breakfast and even noticed that we wernt fond of black pudding so the next day it was changed without question, great attention to detail too,it is lovely to see how proud of the place Elizabeth is and i think she is doing a grand job, great location and at an affordable...

Weekend away minus children at the rugby. Wanted somewhere handy where we could park the car all weekend in peace. Liz and Brights provided everything we wanted and more. Ideal location, decent facilities locally and on bus routes into town. Room first class, breakfast excellent and a fabulous host. No doubt we will be back. Particularly nice to meet a...

Brights B&B really made our stay in Edinburgh perfect. It's a lovely homey B&B about 1 mile away from the city centre, and a very easy walk with easy links to Bus services (1 straight road!) The room was a great size, with a double bed, TV and an en-suite bathroom. Everything was clean and cosy! Liz (the landlady) was...

I only stayed here for a night before I went to a friend's wedding. It was a very pleasant B&B run by a lady (Elizabeth I think) who was extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. The room was nice, warm and clean. It was very good value, the price was only around £60 for the night. Breakfast was good...

I was looking for something relatively basic for a few nights with a group of friends. However, this was anything but basic. The four of us were expecting to be staying in a family room within the B&B. However, we were actually staying in an absolutely huge 2 bedroom flat across the road from the B&B. The decor was great...

Just far enough from the city centre for a quiet, relaxing night's sleep after a busy day in Edinburgh. Exceedingly friendly and approachable, nothing's too much trouble. A real home from home. Would recommend it to anyone.

This B&B is 1B Brights Cres, this caused a little confusion as it isnt inbetween 1 and 2 as you would expect but a little way before no.1 and wasnt advertised outside as a B&B. It is a lovely old house set on the corner of a very nice and quiet street, ideal for a good sleep without traffic noise....
