Thank you so much Vanessa. We understand accidents happen and we didn't expect a public apology. You are certainly a person of great integrity and as you live in Edinburgh, please, please pop in anytime for a visit. We would love to share some of my wife's home cooking with you ;) xo Paul, Susan and family

Great hospitality at barony House. Food was excellent, room was warm, clean and had extras such as tea and coffee making facilities. The family who run it are friendly and welcoming and give great help in finding your way around Edinburgh. We would certainly stay there in the future.

I am a bit late writing this review but we stayed in December for a weekend and everything from start to finish was perfect. Lots of great information from paul and beautiful breakfast from his wife susan. The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the garden. We are coming back same time next year

This was our second time in Barony House, after having stayed there in May 2015. We were there to celebrate Hogmanay. Again: perfectly clean rooms, a warm welcome by Paul and Susan, wonderful breakfast (and an excellent brunch on New Year's Day). The owners settled in Edinburgh quickly and we got some great tips for local restaurants, pubs and things...

Paul was so helpful and polite! He waited for us at check in and our room was clean, comfortable with beautiful Victorian decorations. We had sherry...

Me and my partner stayed at Barony House at the beginning of December and could not have been treated to a warmer welcome from the owner, Paul. Because it was my birthday, he gave us a very cheap upgrade to a better room and laid on some sherry for us to toast my old age with. He also gave us...
