We had a room downstairs in the basement. It was a nice sized room, comfortable beds and a large bathroom, at the bottom of the stairs. The noise was minimal but the room was extremely cold. When I mentioned it, the staff was extremely concerned. The window had been left open a bit but I hadn't discovered it until the...

Well situated in the Georgian New Town area - less than a fifteen minute stroll to all the main city attractions - and, having only ten rooms, the situation allows for top class personal service in every aspect, be it receptionist, waitress or whoever. The food on offer in the restaurant is of high quality, as witnessed by the fact...

We stayed at 11 Brunswick after purchasing a Groupon. We were appointed a small double in the basement level however the quality of our stay was not forfeited. The staff were friendly and professional. The evening food was exceptional in the restaurant and breakfast set us up for the day ahead. Our room was clean and cosy, great selection of...

I'd booked us to stay here for our anniversary. Not being familiar with Edinburgh I worried about how far it was from the Royal Mile, but needn't have. It's situated in a quiet area by Calton Hill and is 15 minute stroll from Princes street/the Royal Mile. The hotel is lovely and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The...

We enjoyed our stay here. It was in a great location and staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. Our underfloor heating we couldn't get to work and there was a draft coming from the window but it was warm in the room so we didn't mind. The draft just made something rattle near the door which kept us awake for...

Had an excellent stay at No.11. Great location for the city centre and food was excellent. We went for the 5 course taster and were not disappointed. The very friendly staff were the icing on the cake.

Very nice small hotel a bit off the centre of city. Excellent service at the reception and in the restaurant. The decor and interior is very delicate - really good taste. Will be back for sure and will bring my family.

We bought a £250 Groupon voucher for a 2 night stay with breakfast, a 3 course dinner and bottle of champagne. This was bought in January and had to be redeemed by April. Due to popular demand there was no availability for any weekend from January through to April so unfortunately we had to take a week day (Wednesday-Thursday). There...

A present from the family an over night stay and meal. The room was small but it is a small hotel. The room was clean with a nice new shower system. The staff were great very helpful and friendly. Stayed for four nights and had no complaints. The room and bathroom were even better than the pictures - we stayed in Mini Suite Double and had a view of the garden. The double shower and basin were a really nice touch. Breakfast was a highlight - the Scottish breakfast was amazing! The location was great - on a quiet...
