This is not a 4 star hotel, but we traveled with 2 adults, 2 seniors, and 1 11 yr old child. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable, en-suite. Pricey. The 3 bed room is amazing. Had to park 5 blocks away. 4 block walk to buses. Bathroom was small compared to all other places we stayed in UK.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Teviotdale House for a long weekend getaway in Edinburgh! Upon arrival we were greeted by Elizabeth, and shown to our room. We stayed in the room with the four poster bed, which was very big with all of the creature comforts, including a television, cd player, en suite and more! Each day of our...

While on our 2 week visit to the UK, my husband, our teen daughter, and myself stayed at Teviotdale house on 22/6/07. Elizabeth was so nice when we arrived and had a lovely room for us with a beautiful canopy bed and a fold out sofa for my daughter. Even though it was a downstairs room we had a lovely...

My mum and I stayed at this B&B when we were in Edinburgh to take part in the Moonwalk. The only reason I am giving 4 out of 5 instead of full marks is because it is not central. For me, personally, I would always want to stay in the city centre. However, on this occasion it served our purposes...

This is a fantastic B&B. It is beautiful, warm, welcoming, comfortable, peaceful and very clean. It has high ceilings and is decorated in warm colors with beautiful carpeting and intricate crown moldings. We arrived with our two children and were welcomed warmly by Elizabeth. Although we arrived earlier than she expected and weren't able to let her know by phone,...

Finding the Teviotdale House Hotel made our trip to Edinburgh a very special experience. We had booked another accommodation and were very disappointed. We feel very fortunate to have discovered Teviotdale House Hotel. The location is peaceful, however a short bus ride to the city. Our room was very spacious, comfy bed and lovely extras such as fresh homemade shortbread...

I stayed at the Teviotdale from June 19-26, 2006. My first impression was that it was absolutely gorgeus. I mean there is a lovely little garden as you go up the front walk. Teviotdale House is a great place to stay. The room we stayed in was absolutely breathtaking. The whole establishment looked amazing. It was very clean and Elizabeth...

We enjoyed our stay at the Teviotdale. Our room was attractively decorated, as was the rest of the house. Breakfasts were delicious. Although it's a bit of a walk downtown, it didn't deter us and our daughters from making it. When we were tired we took an inexpensive cab ride back. (Busses are also convenient.) The neighbourhood was safe and...

Pretty Teviotdale House is a great place to stay. Elizabeth is a most attentive host, and nothing is too much trouble whether its tourist info or kitting us out for our visit to The Tattoo. The breakfasts as mentioned are excellent. We found two good restaurants nearby 'The Bell' and 'Sambucca', and found the location quiet and convenient to two...

We recently stayed two nights at the Treviotdale House on a whirlwind tour of the UK. The hostess, Elizabeth was exceptionally helpful, professional and cooks a mean breakfast (great homemade scones). I enjoyed some healthier options than your typical English breakfast. The house was charming and beautifully decorated. We had a family room plus she brought in an extra bed...
