Was a last minute booking and very pleasantly surprised. Travel lodges can be a hit or a miss but this one was great. Staff were friendly, room was clean and warm. Could not have asked for more. Easy check out, no hassles.

The rooms are very spacious and clean,the bathrooms spotless,the staff very friendly and helpful.It's very quiet and peaceful as it is some distance from the road.If you want a good night's sleep,this is the place.I would highly recommend this hotel.

It notes that it is a 20 minute walk to Musselburgh and the local train station but it is too remote and close to a very busy road. It's also very dark at night and hard to see the road leading into the hotel by car so I... More

Yes as there is no dining facilities at the hotel, and there is only a petrol station within walking distance. You will be best t bring your own food
