Arrived at lunchtime, to be met by the friendly concierge who helped me in with my luggage in the rain. Simple check in, then meetings on board in the comfortable residents lounge on the top floor. My room is a sumptuous double, with large bed, great shower and lots of quality accessories, bath oils, gels etc. Really well thought through interiors, excellent WiFi (free) and special reading light beside bed. Had a couple of cocktails in the Castle View Bar observing the young bartender mix cocktails with alacrity and finesse! All round a special experience - at a reasonable and sensible rate for B&B. To be highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay in the presidential suite for my husbands birthday ,the room was amazing, the staff are all lovely especially marco the barman who is lovely and chatty , we will be back , thank you

This was our second stay on Ocean Mist and the experience was even better than the first time. The staff are so helpful and you feel they are very proud of the boat and are invested in giving their guests the best possible experience during their stay. The rooms are nice and warm with beds that are the biggest and best I have ever slept in, luxurious bed linen well laid-out bathrooms, and great showers you can really relax. Delicious continental breakfast with locally produced ingredients. Surrounded by great bars and restaurants we are planning our next visit.

The ship has been lovingly fitted out with nice references to its 100+ year history. The rooms/cabins are extremely comfortable and are all unique. The team at the Ocean Mist could not have been more helpful, for example the barman was very knowledgeable and new his craft well. There are so many thoughtful touches to make guests feel welcome. It was a delightful stay.

Excelent service, rooms and staff. A beautiful place. Just like being in a luxury boat. The bar has a great view of Leith. Near to a lot of things (restaurants, supermarkets, the canal, etc.). A great experience.

Absolutely lovely hotel on a boat. Very friendly staff.As soon as we arrived and they saw I was using crutches, we were immediately changed to a room on that level. The room was gorgeous and spotlessly clean, the bed was the comfiest we've ever slept in, pillows were amazing too!! Bottled water, tea, coffee etc. we're all provided. The continental breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, cold meat, cheeses, croissants, cereal, fresh fruit, etc. etc. Nice area in Leith with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. Just a perfect getaway!! Will definitely be going back and highly recommend it to anyone!! Well done Ocean Mist for a fantastic stay. Thank you. Morag and Brian.

The Ocean Mist Leith Hotel in Edinburgh was a great experience, with warm hospitality and excellent service. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was delicious and served with a smile by the friendly staff. The hotel is situated in the vibrant neighborhood of Leith, and is a short bus ride away from the city center, making it easy to see all the sights that Edinburgh has to offer. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Ocean Mist Leith and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Kudos to the Ocean Mist staff. They were extremely friendly and professional. Helpful everytime you asked them and advanced advice if they saw you in doubt. Amazing breakfast with wonderful views of Leith Harbour. Great room. Mine was at the lowest level and spared me of the coming and goings of the two decks above. Enjoyable night atmosphere at the bar and a very knowledgeable barman!

Stayed 4 nights at the Ocean Mist. Rooms were lovely and very comfortable. Everything of a very high standard. The history of the ship adds something extra special to the stay. Staff were incredibly helpful. Breakfasts were very good and the upstairs bar a very nice location. I would highly recommend this hotel.
