The Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (Airport) Hotel is lauded for its prime location, with ease of access to both the city center and airport, and proximity to public transport, as many guests have highlighted. The rooms are generally commended for their cleanliness and comfort, though issues with temperature and noise have been called out. While opinions on value and the atmosphere of the bar and breakfast area show some dissatisfaction, the friendly and helpful staff and efficient service consistently earn praise from travelers. Cleanliness across the hotel is also well-regarded, adding to the positive experience.

Excellent premier inn. Very clean and comfortable room family room. Excellent local transport links right by hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Good clean communal areas-also costa coffee on site. Very nice breakfast-good selection and food replenished regularly. The lady working the breakfast shift (name was Fiona I think) was really friendly and helpful. We are staying here again, and would definately continue to stay here on future visits to Scotland.

Stayed for 3 nights and used the hotel as a base for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. It was a great location with free parking right next to the tram station where a family unlimited day ticket was £9.50. This saved us loads of money and was much easier than finding parking in the city centre.
The room was standard for a premier inn, comfy beds and clean. We also had breakfast each day and with the 50% eat out to help out, this was great value.
Our only issue was that the staff were not great at dealing with requests. On check in, we booked breakfast for 8.15 but on turning up the next morning, this hadn’t been added. Also at check in we were asked if we needed daily housekeeping to change the beds. We declined this but said we would still need fresh towels and teabags/milk. Upon return on our 2nd day, these had still not been replenished and we needed to go down to ask for these. We had also requested additional pillows after the first night. These weren’t put in the room so went down to ask again. We were told they’d be brought up in 20 mins but an hour later, still no sign and another visit to reception was needed.
These issues were not major but were inconvenient and possibly the result of inexperienced staff? Wouldn’t put us off staying again.

The hotel is located at Edinburgh Park, a business park area of Edinburgh close to many corporate buildings. The hotel is across the road from a local retail park and is also on the tram link from the airport (Edinburgh Park Central), as well as scotrail services, which gives it easy access to the airport, city centre and father afield. Parking is also available on site. Although the tram ride is about 15 mins from the city centre, price per night rates are reduced to compensate in comparison to city centre hotels.

Thyme restaurant facilities on site are located in the in house bar area though for those going out at night wanting a nightcap need to be back before 11pm during the week as the bar closes then.

Rooms are accessible via lifts and were well appointed with the standard furnishings of a premier inn hotel. Large Hypnos beds were comfy. My only complaint was that rooms with baths had very high sides meaning you had to really climb into the bath/shower which could be difficult for some. A walk in shower would have been better or a lower bath.

Overall a great hotel and a good location for both business and leisure traveller and gives a great nights sleep.

We booked your hotel as a weekend break. As we have used this hotel before and enjoyed our stay we decided to rebook with yourselves. Unfortunately this will be the last time we use this hotel. On arrival we were given our keys and told to ask if we required housekeeping, due to the Covid situation housekeeping would only be carried out if requested, this was not an issue for us. Once checked in and settled into our room (321) we notice a voucher had been left for us to receive a complementary drink. As we were not heading into the city until later we decided to go to the bar and have a few drinks.

We were rudely approached by a member of your team, Justyna demanding to know where we were going, my husband explained we were heading to the bar for a drink to which she sternly replied with "What to take do your room or are you going to sit here?" pointing off to the bar area. When we said the bar she rolled her eyes and said "well find a seat". When we order our drinks, 1 pint of lager and 1 vodka with a mixer she simply said No! When asked why, her answer was "we aren't doing draught" fine we'll have a bottle... Her reply "Of what?". Confused but her attitude and her answers I simply said my husband would like a bottle of lager and I would still like my vodka and irn bru. Again in a rude and stern response she TOLD us "no there is only vodka and cola so I would have to be happy with that" ( I don't drink cola)! I then said to Justyna that I would just have a vodka shot and buy my mixer from the vending machine only for her to abruptly and tell me that there is no vodka!! After 5 minutes of firsty being made to feel very unwelcome and having nothing explained to us at check in or by any team member about limited products in the bar we decided to leave minus any drinks. Breakfast was much the same with a limited choice of continental items but again this will be put down to Covid-19. It should be noted though that the uther staff members we interacted with were professional but I'm afraid our first impressions with Justynas rudeness set the hotel up for a fall.
emperature dial did not work on the AC resulting in the room being too warm, extra pillows requested in the morning but husband had to chase thia up later in the day when we returned from the city.

As a former Whitbread employ I know the high standards the company expect from their staff, so to be spoken to and treated in such a rude manner is somewhat concerning resulting in us not using this hotel again.

We stayed for one night prior to a flight from Edinburgh Airport. We arrived by traing and only had to walk a couple of hundred yards to the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient. The room was great. Initially there was no heating but this was immediately resolved when we raiased the issue. We chose to eat at a Frankie & Bennys which was a 20 minute walk away but the Premier Inn bar and restaurant both looked good. The tram stop is only a couple of hundred yards away so the city centre can be reached within 20 minutes. We only paid £33.50 for our stay on a Monday night which was excellent value.

I stayed here during the understandably busy Hogmanay period where most accommodations in the city are able to charge a premium. Given how relatively late I left the reservation, I was pleased say the value I was able to secure for the nights I stayed there. It was a standard experience which is what I think one wants from a chain like Premier Inn. The transport connections to the city, airport, and elsewhere couldn't be easier, and the sound proofing in the rooms is of a good quality - the only thing that I heard was the odd train speeding through the station a few meters away.

Excellent location for tram into Edinburgh (15 mins) or train to Glasgow (about 50 mins) really clean rooms that are quiet given they are next to tram and train. Aircon in the rooms is really good as is the large tv and excellent beds. Obviously a newer hotel as everything is clean and immaculate throughout and the staff are friendly and helpful if you need them. Free parking is plentiful. Would definitely stay there again without hesitation.

We were flying from Edinburgh Airport and chose this hotel as it was easy to get to Edinburgh and the airport from with tram , bus and train links.
We stayed in a prem plus room which means you get a free drink each , super fast WiFi complimentary and nespresso coffee and a very well appointed room.
Reception and all the staff were super helpful and made our stay extra special.
Unfortunately due to Covid the catering was very limited but that’s not the hotels fault.
Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for anyone stopping for Edinburgh or the airport and it was also Betty reasonable priced with a great Costa coffee shop on site

I stayed at the Edinburgh Park Premier Inn for two nights specifically around the date of 17th November for "The Wedding Present" gig at the The Liquid Rooms. Hotel good for parking, and easy to find coming from Forth crossing. Hotel also has a Costa in it; but it is a franchise Costa, not a real Costa, (and they do not redeem rewards). Rooms do not have an electric shaver socket in the bathroom or in the main room - so male guests, remember to bring a wet razor with you, and a real or battery toothbrush, not electric. Air con was problematic and required reporting to Reception. Hotel is right at Edinburgh Park rail and tram stop, and so very convenient for access into city centre. Noise is manageable in room unless you are a super-light sleeper; trams stop at approx. 11:30pm; local trains do not make much noise; only trains passing through Edinburgh Park without stopping appear to make much noise. There is nowhere to eat in the Gyle in the evening - so just take the tram into the city centre.

Stayed here for a short break to Edinburgh, first time in Premier but definitely won’t be the last. On arrival we noticed the cleanliness of the reception area and how the hotel was meeting all the requirements with sanitizers and social distancing ,I used the lobby / front hall toilets on arrival and was extremely impressed on how clean and luxurious they were. Simple check in and up to our room which again was really clean and bathroom gleaming , the bed was comfortable and we never heard a sound in the hotel during the night even though it seemed to be quite busy so a good sleep was had., staff were helpful but not intrusive, available to answer any questions or help if needed. This hotel is so handy for travelling into the city with tram stop or train right at the door , safe secure parking at hotel, also. If your looking for a nice clean hotel to relax but want easy access to the city this ticks the boxes .. we will be back

Glasgow Airport to Glasgow Queen Street Rail Station take a taxi. Take a train to from Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh Park Station. Hotel is next to Station. Trams do not run until 0530 so best book a taxi for a early start. Airport is only 15 minutes away.
