Stayed at this hotel when returning from holiday. So well situated with tram stop and rail station within 50 metres. Hotel modern and clean. Must be popular as they are expanding but there was no noise at all from the contractors.

Great place to put your head down before an early morning flight. Tram stop a two minute walk from hotel to take you into city or airport.quiet comfy rooms, friiendly staff. The hotel is undergoing an extension at moment so carparking is limited.

Hotel is serviced by tram, train, bus and taxi. Within a few minutes walk of large supermarket and other stores. Gyle centre only a few minutes by tram. Short taxi ride to Edinburgh zoo. Easy access to Edinburgh city centre.

Visited the Sportsman’s Inn for lunch. Atmosphere was warm and the decor was inviting and comfortable. Had a fabulous soup with warm, crusty bread. Fantastic. The Manager was very friendly and helpful regarding tourist attractions in the area and the staff were all very hospitable....More
