We stayed 2 nights in this nice guest house. The free breakfast was amazing, the room comfortable and sufficiently clean , the bathroom was noy very new but functional. Free WiFi. It was pretty expensive even if it had a very small but free parking lot and it was in front of the bus stop (10-minutes and you are in...

We had a great stay at the Strathallan. The B&B had lovely period features and our room was a very good size. Location was perfect for exploring Edinburgh with only a 15 minute stroll to the old town. Breakfast was tasty and kept me full most of the day! Forget the chain hotels - stay here for a warm Scottish...

Spent 2 nights here whilst visiting Edinburgh. Our room was small in the attic but not a problem at all for us just using it as a base. An easy 25 min walk into the city so we never used buses although could've done without a problem as bus stop is not far. Very nice breakfast, friendly and helpful owners!

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet location and great breakfast in the morning. Good parking. The housekeeping is perfect too. There's a beautiful historic stained glass window as you go up the stairs

We were looking for somewhere affordable and with parking and found this little gem. Situated near Arthur's Seat and just round the corner from the commonwealth pool (also worth a visit if your a swimmer). We were in one of the small rooms on the top floor. It was compact but had everything we needed with a comfortable bed and...

The location is great. Just along the road to the bus stop and short ride into centre although we also walked into the centre a couple of times, so not far. The owner was helpful and eager to help with advice on where to go etc. Nice breakfast too with everything we needed to set us up for the morning....

Friendly staff, free off-road parking (getting rarer in Edinburgh), great cooked breakfast, clean, comfortable room, check-in from 12 noon and 15 minutes walk from Princes Street. Will stay here again when back in Edinburgh.

Great location within easy walking distance to City Centre. There is also a bus stop about a block away. As a solo traveler, my ensuite room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Parking is also available. I arrived early and they graciously held my luggage until my room was ready. Good...

My wife and I and our three adult children and their spouses stayed at the Strathallan Guest House for two nights. Very accommodating service, excellent location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a B&B in Edinburgh.

Great B&B. We stayed here December last year. Good value for money and within walking distance or a short bus ride away from city centre. Room was clean and comfortable and staff really friendly. We've booked to stay again December 16.

Thank Victoria K
