We had the most wonderful room (number 5) with high ceiling and plenty of space. The house is from 1820, and the interiors are very beautiful with plaster cast decorations. There is a free wi-fi, but it did not work very well. The personnel is friendly and breakfast was good. We traveled with a child and felt welcome to this...

The location was good - about a mile from the Royal Mile near plenty of pubs and restaurants. And it was very close to Arthur's Seat. The best part, though, was probably...

The day before I arrived, Eamonn contacted me regarding my arrival time and let me know how to get in to the building and where my key would be located as no one would be available. He also gave me bus information on how to get there. The room we...

Stayed here whilst visiting friends and family in Edinburgh. Great location, off road parking and lots of public transport nearby so leave the car safely at Strathallan. Room I stayed in was tidy, clean, spacious and very comfortable, had complimentary tea/coffee/biscuits, nice flat screen TV with Freeview and en-suite shower and toilet. I took some pictures to show how nice...

I stayed here 3 nights at the end of January. Comfortable room, everything you could want for breakfast. Interesting walk in to (or out of) centre, passing independent shops, a variety of places to eat in the evening, Royal Mile, North Bridge, ending on Princes Street; or you can go by bus (frequent). Eamonn the owner is friendly and helpful....
