We were in room 7 (attic room) lovely sky light with great view - hotel facilities great. Lovely friendly staff and good breakfast. Perfect distance to the city. Will definitely stay again. Taxi to city between £3.50 - £6.00 depending on time and very easy to flag a taxi down outside.

We arrived fairly late at night and rang the mobile number on the door! With no hesitations Eamon gave us the door code and we could settle in for the night. After the long 8 hour journey, we decided we wanted food and the location of this place was perfect meaning we could walk a matter of 5 minutes and... More

We spent three days at this nice B&B. The hosts were terrific and very accommodating. They assisted us with places to see and what buses to catch. The breakfast were also very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Needs a good scrub... all over. Shames as the location is good and the staff are OK. But to be comfortable you would want something a bit more up market....The building is very nice on the exterior but inside is not

We enjoyed our stay at the Strathallan. The host, Eamon, was very friendly and the house was special with many historic features including some very nice stain glass windows along the stairway. The room was very nice and the breakfast was delicious. The host gave excellent advice about nearby restaurants as well as walking into the city (about 15-20 miinutes... More

On the good side, the owner and the staff of the B&B are certainly friendly, the breakfast is good and the house is nice and well located to visit the town. On the bad side, our room was too small, not as clean as we would have liked to find it, and in need, specially the tiny bathroom, of a... More

A good, friendly service. Hearty breakfast sets you up for the day. The owner(Eamon) was very helpful in suggesting nearby bars and restaurants worth visiting. Newington is a local area offering an alternative to the city centre, yet just 20 minutes walk away.
