Love this place, I live locally and use it for its great bar and restaurant. My family came to visit me and stayed there last week, not enough room in my house. They had a family room and one of the double rooms, great value for money, attentive staff, lovely fresh bedding and great breakfast and evening meals. Looks like...

Basicly a good hotel in need of some TLC. The staff were first class nothing was too much trouble. Staying overnight disappointing as heating not adjustable in room and shower rather tired. Breakfast was so so but the a la carte meals were very poor. As we were there for a funeral function with many other parties on that day...

Hoping for a nice festive visit with friends, the room was so disappointing. The room was shabby but we could have coped with that but when we went in the bathroom and there was mould everywhere we weren't happy. The window sill was hanging off the wall and no bulbs in the book lights. Breakfast was good, and the staff...

I had occasion to book the large function room here recently, and was very satisfied with the service we received. I don't know if the hotel is family run, but all the staff are very much from the same mould - they were discreet, flexible, and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. I didn't know numbers to cater for, but...

Stayed with mum and sister for 1 night. We stayed in room number 7 (triple room) which was perfect in every way. A huge room with 3 very comfortable single beds, big bathroom with shower, mini toiletries which we weren't expecting and tea/coffee facilities including biscuits. Lovely and warm too. Loved the cosy bar, had an amazing breakfast in the...

We were so warm and cosy in our room. Loads of tea, coffee and biscuits. The shower was amazing. The food is fabulous, breakfast was lovely. Had the most amazing fish and chips cooked by the most wonderful chef Mr Craig Long. We can't wait to go back. The staff are so friendly and the managers were so good to...

Saturday night in Leith so the men could go to the rugby and the women go shopping. Arrived too early to book in but allowed to park up and go into town. Number 11 bus just around the corner and town centre less than 20 minutes later. Back just after 9pm to book in. Spacious rooms, huge comfy beds, large...
