My Girlfriend and I, travelled from Darlington to Edinburgh and booked our stay at Kingsbrugh house based on the recommendations from the previous reviews on this site. As it was my Girlfriends birthday I wanted to make the experience of Edinburgh the best I could, and we where both very impressed with our stay at Kingsburgh House. Our stay was...

We had an overnight stop here en route back home from getting married at Loch Ness before then flying off on honeymoon. We were greeted by the lovely Adrenne (owner) who showed us to a beautiful room complete with choclates, wine and card. The house is itself beautiful, full of character and very very clean. I'd read the great reports and wasn't disappointed with our stay. Warm welcome from Alan, shown to our wonderful rooms then invited down for a complimentary drink and snacks. On a tight schedule as we had tickets for 7.30 show, so whilst relaxing with a drink Alan booked taxis and made restaurant reservations.. nothing too much trouble. Couldn't fault the...

Echo everything that has been said in previous reviews. Staying here was part of my 50th Birthday treat organised by my wife. From the minute you arrive you are made welcome. The house is beautiful, the rooms well appointed, and I have not had a better breakfast anywhere I have travelled. As it was my birthday Alan and Andrena had...

We booked this for our wedding accommodation as we were getting married in Leith. I am always wary of hotel websites, but I was amazed at this place when we got there. I had been in contact with Andrena beforehand for help and advice. We arrived just after 10am and our room was ready, even though check-in is 2pm! To...

The owners are very friendly and offer plenty advise on where to visit and recommend places to eat - which they booked for us. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Our room was beautifully...

This was our first trip to Scotland and we chose Edinburgh out of flight convenience. Little did we know we would have a truly memorable experience with the Kingsburgh Guest House. The owners were wonderful, the food delicious, the location excellent, and the rooms/house were comfortable, well decorated, and spacious. We will definitely return to this Guest House when we...

This trip was a surprise by my husband for my 30th and I was thrilled with the description on the website but even happier when we arrived. The Kingsburgh is a lovely hotel. The owners are friendly and full of tips and information for those hoping to experience as much of Edinburgh as possible. The house itself is stunning and...

Stayed for 3 warm, sunny days in April and booked the Campbell room which has a 4 poster bed. On arrival (we were an hour early but room was ready) we were greeted by friendly and welcoming Andrena who helped us up to our room and offered us a beer/wine/tea which we gratefully accepted. We met her back downstairs to...
