I stayed in this 'hotel' for 1week for work reasons in Edinburgh. Reading previous reviews the 'host' was not wonderful & most accommodating. As I was up early & would miss the breakfast I asked if a sandwich could be made the morning being so I could eat something but was told simply no. The bed is the hardest bed...

Was in Edinburgh for just 4 nights but was such a lovely hotel. Arthurs seat right behind us and walking distance. Don't normally post reviews but felt like I just had to! Theresa was so lovely and sweet. Helped us with everything and anything- nothing was too much bother. Our room was a lot nicer than the cover picture on...

if you do like to have a traditional feel, then this will be good for you. The room is spacious, doesn't feel damp. The bed is comfortable. The curtains were a bit dusty and the bathroom can be cleaner. but the bathroom was quite nice for such an old building. The staff were however very nice. The breakfast was okay....

Located on the Dalkeith road only 15 minutes from Edinburgh's city centre this hotel offers you a good value for price and a memorable experience. The hostess, Ms. Theresa is very kind lady, who helps you with very small and imp details for a novice. Room is good decent, bathroom neat and clean, cookies kept in the room are very tasty. Staircase could be a bit bother if you have huge luggage.

Spent two days in Edinburgh at the end of July. The owner, Theresa, is very kind and ready to help you to have a good time in this enchanting city. The hotel is situated near to a bus stop to get the center quickly. Our room was comfortable, large and very clean. Although the room faced the street, we slept...

I was very lucky to get a last minute room at festival season and the wonderful proprietor; Theresa, offered me a single room with private en suite across the landing.. This room replaced a booking I had at Pollock Halls of residence where I would have needed to share facilities with four people. I was so grateful to be at...

Had a really lovely time at Rosehall. Therese was a brilliant host, even letting us up to our room when we arrived at half nine when we arrived to drop our bags! Room was spotless, bed was comfy, and shower was strong and hot water always available. We really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back to stay...
