Very overpriced for the standard of decor and state of rooms. Completely rip off price and having to pay an extra 8 pounds per person for a breakfast you have to help yourself to ,unbelievable. The management need to take a look at what is around them and make good changes before they can call it a hotel. More like...

I was very disappointed with my stay here, room was filthy, bugs, dust and dirt! Also radiator was broken and couldn't turn it down or switch of. Night staff was no help at all with this. I barely got any sleep and regret booking this hotel.

Was slightly apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on here but the price was really good so we went for it. No problems at reception, staff were helpful. Our room was bigger than expected with a lovely bathroom and comfortable beds. Couldn't fault our stay at all. :)

I booked this hotel via a "superbreak" deal advertised in my local Thomas Cook branch. The deal included rail travel for 2 people so was very reasonably priced. I was assured the hotel was a very good standard 3* with some glowing reviews (there are one or two great reviews, yes) however I have never been so disappointed. The entire...

Firstly hotel charges £3 a day for wifi... pretty ridiculous considering the city has free wifi and you can walk 10mins up to road to use Starbucks! Also the breakfast is £8, and not very good, cereal, yoghurt, toast, croissant. Again could walk up the road to Sainaburys and buy more. They had a place to keep our bags which...

Stayed here for one night on 8/4/2017 in a room for three people. Unfortunately the stay was not particularly enjoyable. After a lovely afternoon in Edinburgh we made our way to the B&B. We were given the key to our room by a not particularly helpful lady. The room was at the top of the house room 8. For 3...

Our rooms in the attic were very small. A lot of updating and decorating needs doing throughout, however the beds were comfortable and the staff helpful. Basic rooms with no frills. Disappointed - there was no hair drier, poor heating and very draughty skylight Windows.

At £30 for a night for an en suite double room in Edinburgh with free parking outside, I couldn't complain! Period property with features to match, basic rooms but clean. Checked in no problem but there weren't many staff around on checkout or for most of our stay. The water was cold in the morning so we had to have...

The pictures of this place online make it look like a dream. Beautiful room, cheap rates, good location.... perfect right? Don't believe it for a minute. We booked 3 months in advance and got a room in the basement which we had to follow a dark dingy maze to get to. That should have been our first clue. The $3...
