Detailed Reviews
Stayed for one night with my elderly disabled mum. The room was immaculate and several disabled aids had been added into the shower room without asking for them. The receptionist had also specifically allocated us a room with a larger shower to enable space to accommodate my mums wheeled walker as the dedicated disability accessible room was already booked. The receptionist, Wilma, couldn't have been more helpful. She was friendly and immediately made us feel very welcome. She provided us with extra tea and milk and advice on the best way for my mum to view the nearby Kelpies. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She is a wonderful representative for Premier Lodge and we were very impressed with how friendly and helpful she was. Would highly recommend the Lodge and will make a point of staying there again next time I'm in Falkirk.

This hotel is a great location if you want to walk to The Kelpies – a quick 5-10 minute walk gets you right there! Upon our arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful front desk clerk. We had food delivered in the evening and the hotel clerk was very quick to offer us plates and cutlery from the staff kitchen! Our room was very clean and a good size for 2 people. We rate it as exceptional value for money. There were some football fans drinking in the lobby but we never heard them from our room, and the outside area is quiet too (mostly industrial, so nothing operating while we were there on a Saturday).

Strange set up. A converted office block - now a hotel. The concept is great. It does work well for certain types of people. I can see where it is appealing to workers during the week. The bedrooms are lovely, great shower and spotlessly clean. The staff are all incredibly friendly and make the effort to make conversation with you. Although the location is not the best it is safe and secure. Full use of a shared kitchen facility with microwaves which is excellent, but only downside I feel is the the price when you have Premier inn and Travelodge minutes away. When I stayed there was only a handful of guests. Literally the majority of the hotel was empty. I reckon if each room was £39 maximum this would be far more popular. The owners are trying to make this an upmarket budget hotel but for the location and lack of amenities the price is a bit high.

This Hotel is literally a hidden gem !! It is built on an industrial estate but don’t let that put you off !! The location is excellent for Falkirk and local attractions like the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpie Marina. There are two public footpaths that take less than five minutes to get you two the Helix Park and the Kelpies and to anyone who hasn’t seen the magnificent it’s a must by day and an absolutely awesome sight at night when they are illuminated!! The Hotel is spotlessly clean and well run. They don’t do food but allow you to use a small kitchen should you wish and there is a reception area with tables and chairs for guests to use if they bring in food or order a take away meal. The rooms are large and well equipped with beautiful en suite showers ,I cannot fault the staff who are kind and welcoming and make a really great team.I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in the area and we will certainly be back the next time we travel up to Scotland.

It's a gem of a hotel, near the football ground. Plenty of parking, nice clean rooms, warm and comfortable. Helpful friendly staff there to advise on places to eat locally, even offered use of the staff microwave to warm food in. Good shower and big tv. Can't fault the place.

When I pulled up there was workmen sitting outside smoking fags and drinking beer but when I got in I was pleasantly surprised. Made to feel welcome by the receptionist and noticed how clean the area looked. As there was no restaurant was given access to fridges and microwaves which I thought was a nice touch. It also had vending machines available for use. My bedroom was on the 1st floor unfortunately just next to a squeaky door but that didn’t put me off. Room was big enough for what I needed and the bed was very comfortable. There was a lot of added touches which helped like Smart TVs and locally made shower gel and shampoo. Free Wi-Fi was available if you needed it. Only one criticism I’m afraid and even at that it is very picky. There was no clear instruction on the shower dial which way was cold and hot. But once set it provided me with an excellent power shower. For business purposes I would happily return here and I think people should look at this as a model for disused office space.
A very enjoyable stay, thank you and I will happily recommend to others.

Apologies for this late review, but I felt I had to thank the Manager and Staff (Sue?) who went over and above in their service to us. We had originally booked into their sister hotel, but the room was on the second floor and their lift was out of order, As I have cerebral palsy I could not get to this room. However the Premier Lodge welcomed us, but were very apologetic with their only room available on their ground floor being small with two single beds.
This was sufficient for my wife and I and it was very clean and tidy. The receptionist couldn't have been more helpful telling us how to order a takeaway, setting up a table for us to eat in the small reception and even offering to go and pick up the said take away. All in all it was a memorable one night stay because of this. We enjoyed the Kelpies and had a good night's sleep.
So thank you so much for going that extra mile for us! It was much appreciated,

I have to say that initially I was sceptical about booking a place on an industrial estate, however we wanted to be near The Kelpies and the lodge was 10 minutes walk from there.
Plenty of car parking covered with CCTV and excellent Covid awareness and safety measures in place.
On arrival staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful and check in was a breeze.
Our room was immaculate, great bed, great shower and plenty of tea/coffee facilities.
There is not a restaurant at the lodge but we were aware of that when booking however there is a communal kitchen equipped with fridge and microwave should you wish to bring in some of your own food. There is a BP garage within ten minutes on the main road that has a M&S shop. We purchased some breakfast items there and ordered a takeaway via Uber Eats for the evening and ate it at the small dining area that was set aside.
Very impressed overall, excellent value for money and would be more than happy to stay again.
We must make a special mention to receptionist Wilma who was very helpful, informative and a total gem. If Carlsberg made Receptionists 🙂. Thank you for a great stay. Paul & Leigh-Anne on the bike 👍

This new hotel is based in an industrial estate near the Kelpies and the Falkirk Stadium. Do not let that put you off. In my opinion a place like this, for a one or two night stay, as a base doesn’t have to have wonderful views to make it work. The parking is easy, the place is quiet at night, the rooms are well thought out with nice things like usb plug sockets, beautiful toiletries, a decent size kettle and mugs, good lighting for reading in bed. All for less than 50.00 a night! What’s not to like.
Wilma who greeted us on arrival has the most lovely cheery friendly personality and is a credit to the hotel. Made us feel welcome and even gave me some of her own milk for my morning cuppa! Temperature taken by cameras above the door as you go in so no need for contact. Always followed covid guidance with mask and distancing, hand sanitiser available and obvious. Carol the director was there when we left this morning and again is a lovely friendly lady, someone who wanted our stay to be just right. We will go back and use the hotel to take our grandkids to all the things in the area during the summer I hope. There is a lot to see and do so well worth the trip.

There is quite a large area at reception when you go in the door. There would, I am sure, be room but I would check with the staff that they are o.k. with this. Staff were lovely and I am sure they will do everything they can to accommodate you.
