Absolutely disgusting service! Manager dealt with me drunk and was horrendous! Spoke to me like I was in the wrong. Not to mention a compulsive liar! Room was unfit! Broken bed and constant water dripping in the toilet system. Wifi was horrendous. This was literally the worst experience of my life. A night in the cells would have been better....

Back in the days when this hotel was dog friendly and quirky we stayed often and really appreciated the no nonsense place to rest our weary bones when working away from home. We would not consider leaving our dog in the car overnight ever so we have not stayed here for many months but this week I was you tired...

Please stay away from this hovel. It is totally not fit for purpose. It's the only place I've ever been and been able to sit on the toilet having a shave whilst having a cold shower at the same time. The place was cold and felt like you were walking into a prison. Please stay away unless you are desperate.

We needed a cheap overnight stay for a family party so booked for one night. From the moment I walked in I couldn't wait to walk back out. The place is old, dated and in need of a massive deep clean. Yes we went budget but we didn't expect dirt and filth.

First night child free my partner and I decided to get somewhere for the night and go out for a nice meal. Got to the hotel and the lady informed us that the WiFi was broken and that there was a fault with the alarm. Got to the room if you could even call it that - it hadn't been...

This place always reminds me of a ferry due to the lip you have to step over when entering the WC, the hallways are also reminiscent of a ferry.... However, the linen is clean and although the rooms are non-smoking there are traces of previous smokers (lingering smell, butts chucked out the window), but that's the clientele not the hotels...

This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for costing just under £80 for an 'en suite' (what a joke!) double room for two nights. The room just held the bed and two bedside cabinets with enough room to walk around the bed. The 'en-suite' had to be seen to be believed. It was literally a WC which...

We have been regular guests at this hotel over the last 5 years with our dog Lucy. It has seen us through some very difficult times and we had developed a good relationship with staff members as well. Today I have been informed the dog friendly policy has been cancelled. As the hotel itself is functional but basic this has...
