Good value, simply furnished, clean room.
Excellent staff on reception-Marisa and the blonde lady.
Jamie, manager in Brewers Fayre next door, was exceptional in his service during dinner and went out of his way to make sure that we had a good time.

I spent 5 nights at Premier Inn Falkirk North while working in the area during the heatwave of July 2021...
The hotel is nice and clean, the room i had was spacious and had a nice comfortable armchair, something i had never seen in Premier Inn previously.
Flatscreen TV didnt have BBC2 available for some reason, the reception staff are all very pleasant. The maids didn't come to the room at all during my stay, i assume this is due to COVID, not really a problem for me as i just asked for fresh towers from reception when needed.
Good location just off he main motorway roads, however as it was a heatwave i had the window open 24/7 they only open a amall amount and can be incredibly noisy outside due to a busy petrol station 50 yards away. A good fan was provided in my room, and i haad to sleep with it on 4 out of 5 nogh

Stayed here before. After a 350 mile trip passing through some of the worst motorway sections in the UK the last thing I needed was a receptionist like the miserable individual in Oban Premier Inn. Instead I was greeted by Kirsty who was polite, helpful, efficient and understood I maybe a bit tired and in need of a good room. Once I had recovered and went out for food Kirsty was also interested in my visit to Scotland and was able to give me what turned out to be good advice about both the local area and my onward journey to Elgin. Many thanks to Kirsty and the housekeeping staff and maybe Whitbread can reward their harder working staff instead of chasing profit, paying low wages and doing bare minimum maintenance while charging twice the price for the same standard of room I can get in France

We booked a family room for me, my husband and our teen boy to pass the night and break a long travel to Scotland. The room was really warm, but understandable for the hot weather, the main problem was the lack of cleanness of the room and toilet, however we were so tired to raise the matter that I only cleaned it myself.
We booked breakfast and in the booked hour we went to the restaurant to find out that they were understaffed, only two ladies to cook and server to all the people on there. After long waiting we got a "full" English breakfast that was only a small portion and the staff apologised because they were understaffed. After wait in the table for around 1 and half hour, the gentle ladie of the staff, apologetic explained that I could ask my money back as they were not able to offer the service I paid for. I said to her that I had a full journey in front of us and asked to have a yogurt and a tea and I knew it was not get fault as we saw that they were trying to do what they could in 2 staff and she said that it was too be 3 more the management but they only showed up late. I left the restaurant after two hours hungrier than I came and left the hotel to never more return on there. We usually book Premier In and it is just fine for the purpose but it was the first time in the Falkirk North and it will be the last as well

Booked into hotel and arranged evening meal in adjacent restaurant. As you walk into pub, covid information is clearly noticeable. As we had our autistic grandson with us, he needs to be fed at times he has been told. So when we arrived at the restaurant 25 minutes early we did not expect table to be available. Informed restaurant of our arrival and advised table is free and they would just set up the table cutlery. Forty minutes later I search for the staff to see if we could go to our table at which they apologised for forgetting we where in the building. We were then put in a location among other diners - 4m x 1.5m of which I counted eleven diners all cramped together. In other areas there were single diners at tables for minimum four people on their own. It looked like the families were cramped into corner to stay away from other diners. We were allowed to our table, bit tight with nearby diners but sat down and awaited staff to come to take our order. After fifteen minutes no one came, so I went to bar to ask when order was going to be taken to be told we had to order at bar. When I asked why weren't we informed of this ordering system as our grandson was getting irritated with the wait as it was forty minutes past his time we agreed with him and the closeness of the other diners was uncomfortable. I was then told by the manager which I found out was the person dealing with us that the staff should have informed us. Our grandson got seriously upset with the tight quarters we were in and we had to leave. When I mentioned to the manageress why we were sitting in such proximity wit other diners and not adhering to covid social distancing we were informed there was no issue with the diners being close to each other as the law had changed so I asked why are you enforcing diners to wear masks on entry and then making them sit within 18 inches of each other, she couldn't explain. As in previous visit to another Premier Inn in Glasgow the day before, there was not enough staff to deal with the amount of diners in the restaurant and serious mistakes were being made by the manageress as there was no control of what was happening. We then left due to seriously poor conditions being offered by restaurant .Premier inn need to review there adjacent restaurants to their hotels as over the last week, two hotels have been let down by them ensuring we will not be returning to a premier inn hotel no matter how desperate we are.

This hotel is off the usual premier Inn standard, welcoming staff, clean and comfortable accommodation and in a convenient location. Stayed in a ground floor room, noise wise wouldn't know it's close to the busy M876 leading to the Kincardine bridge however could here people in the room above moving about. Located next a Brewers Fayre so used this for an evening meal and to have the Premier Inn breakfast which for 2 adults and 2 children is great value, especially as the children get to eat free with a paying adult. Only noticeable downside is that the car park is in a terrible state, more pot holes than actual surface. Would have no hesitation in using this hotel again if in the area.

We stay at this one quite alot and everytime the same issues are there. You can't change the temp in your room and it's just too warm especially at night. Then when you go for a shower it's quicker to wash yourself in the sink as there's barely any water from the shower head.

During a week stay I Asked 4 times for a room clean it took 5 times asking and a complaint before it got done & the bedding changed. The staff wasn't helpful at all, left clean towels outside my room in a bin bag which stunk of smoke! The oldish guy that worked on the reception took it on himself to watch me 4 evenings in a row walk to my room to go to bed after a long day, found it very creepy and uncomfortable for a young women! I left early due to this. Staff didnt seem to be bothered at all 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

+1
My girlfriend and I arrived at this hotel at around approximately 3:45pm, when check-in is from 3pm - we were told that our room had not yet been cleaned. To cut a long story short, we eventually had access to Room 122 from approximately 4:20pm.
We had booked a double room yet we walked in to two single beds, one mug (also only one teabag) and one spare pillow. My girlfriend stripped the beds and zipped them together herself. We then had to go back to reception to highlight this and ask for a double flat sheet and double duvet. Pamela from reception was as helpful as she could be and offered to remake the bed for us when she brought the bed linen to our door, which we declined.
The room itself was very run down and we felt the standards you could normally rely on, have slipped (as you’ll be able to see for yourself from our photos).
Overall, we would not return to this hotel due to various factors and would probably consider staying with a different hotel chain altogether for our next getaway.

This is the second time we've stayed here and can honestly say it's a credit to the Premier Inn brand.
Rooms are clean, staff so friendly and helpful and plentiful free easy parking.
With a Beefeater adjacent to the Premier Inn for breakfasts and meals, a petrol station with shop & Subway next to the car park, all the essential facilities are available.
The inn is located just south of the Kincardine Bridge. Some might consider it a little remote because it is quiet and rural, but there is easy access to the main roads and motorways.
We will certainly be back.
