They couldn't have been any less understanding or helpful when I called in today looking for a bit of advice.. Glad I never actually used them for the van conversion! Not a way I would want to run a business or talk to customers.

We had a great holiday in the Bongo van! We are a family of five from Canada, and the Bongo was one of the few camper vans we could find that would accommodate us. Two kids in the pop top, the adults in the main camper bed and the third kid in the huge tent/awning that had a separate room...

I rented a Bongo from Campers Scotland for a long weekend of driving, walking and of course sleeping! The van was all ready for us when I got there, sorting keys and insurance was far smoother than most of my previous car/van rental experiences, and most importantly we had a great weekend with a reliable vehicle to take us wherever...

I came over from Canada to visit friends. They had decided to trace my ancestory roots as part of a road trip and give me my chance to really see Scotland. Our first stop was 'Campers Scotland' to pick up the camper van,Wow! what a brilliant idea the van had all we needed-cooking facillities, comfortable chairs, tables,a dream of an inflatable mattress!...

We had an amazing time cruising around in our very comfortable van which slept us comfortably and we were given loads of tips on where to go, which roads to take and what to see from the owners very kindly before...

We had a wonderful trip driving around the Isle of Mull in our bongo. Really friendly and knowledgeable service from Campers Scotland who provided all the equipment and information we needed for a really great holiday. The bongos themselves are brilliant - lovely to drive and really comfortable to sleep in. We had a beautiful trip and would recommend to...

When we booked the van, the website advertised a fully converted camper. The picture even showed an integrated oven! When we picked it up, we were quite disappointed: It is a 8 seater van with camping equipment in it. It comes with an inflatable mattress, gas stove, plastic cutlery, foldable chairs, a table and a cool box. The main problem...

Management response:

Dear Verena, We are so sorry that you didn’t enjoy your experience with Campers Scotland and we’re even more concerned to hear you felt misled by our website. We feel it is very clear on our website that what you are hiring is the original Bongo without our conversion. These are and have been the mainstay of our hire fleet...

My wife and I had a fantastcic week cruising the highlands in a Bongo from Campers Scotland. The Bongo had everything we needed for the week - cooking gear, tables chairs - but also ran like a dream. Keen walkers and campers themselves the team at Campers Scotland were more than helful in not only ensuring the Bongo was ready...
