I was given an afternoon tea voucher as a gift and was really looking forward to it. On arrival albeit a bit early waitress was very ubrupt and we were told to take a seat in the bar as no tables available. On looking round there were 4 tables unoccupied but not cleared. After ten minutes we were taken to...

Second time we have stayed here. The rooms are lovely, well equipped and everything worked as it should. The only let down was breakfast. Buffet, the bacon was swimming in grease, black pudding and haggis like greasy mud, half cooked eggs, mushrooms dry and the cheapest beans available. The sausage was tasty but everything cold. Still, we will return but...

We booked this on the dinner, bed and breakfast and a bottle wine deal. The hotel is obviously older but still lovely and has nice character. The rooms were large and spacious and very clean. The guy Ryan on reception was friendly enough and helpful. We stayed in the garden wing on the first floor and didn't really have any...

Had afternoon tea here today. Pricey for what it is, was very busy, only one waitress who was overworked but she was very pleasant, but a lot of tables were not cleared of used dishes. Also a no - no, if you are going to use sugar cubes, please supply tongs, how many hands have handled them.

Booked for afternoon tea with my mum & daughter and loved it. Was fully booked on arrival and my wee one hadn't been booked in as she decided to come last minute and the server made space for her. The decor was lovely and relaxing, the tea and food came out very quickly. My wee one was offered an orange...

Came here for afternoon tea, inside was lovely decorated but was so cold! Looked like there was only 1 waitress there serving everyone, thought that was a bit low on staffing! Tables with cake stands left which needed cleaned. Anyway, our cake stand came and we weren't exactly blown away! Sandwiches was like as little much filling you could get...

The hotel rooms are very nice The reception from the lady receptionist left a lot to be desired. The evening meal at the attached restaurant out with the hotel was fast food and was not good at all. Breakfast in the morning was not of a good standard with an outside walk from ones bedroom to the hotel dining area...
