Can't sing the praises enough for the way we were looked after at my husbands birthday party. I kept looking around thinking I should be doing something but no, the staff had everything done. I booked a package ==DJ, food etc, very well priced and loads of food for everyone. Tables were well laid out and everything thought of ,...

Stayed here for 3 nights and I believe in honest feedback. It's a handy base for the local area Edinburgh Glasgow and Stirling all within easy reach. Reception isn't manned so you need to go through the bar to get your key etc. I had a huge room at the front of the building. Perfectly clean throughout. Bed was comfortable...

3 couples went here for a hogmanay party night. I am sorry to say this was a big disappointment. The room was only half full and half of those, left well before the bells at midnight. The food was OK, I had beef which was very fatty. The entertainment was a guitarist singing who was not to the taste of...

Two of us had battered mushrooms and were served piping hot and fresh not greasy at all. The Kingston Chicken was nice and spicy chips (basmati rice was...

Rooms were dated but comfortable and warm. Staff were superb. We had bed and breakfast and the breakfast was nicely cooked with plenty of it. I understand that the hotel is due for a complete overhaul shortly which is overdue

Recommended by a friend... Quality and portion size amazing for the price paid. At the time of the visit there was a wedding in also in the function room, this slowing service but this was not a problem For us. Would defiantly recommend and would defiantly return.

We've been here several times for lunch and family meals, never had any cause for complaint. The food is always fresh, plentiful and well prepared. The lady who serves in the restaurant is lovely and always passes time with our grand-daughter. They have some really good offers, these change from time to time. I love the Kingston Chicken, really spicy...

This hotel has been neglected for years and it shows. The function suite is so poor and the toilets are old and not even particularly clean. I would definately recommend a random visit prior to booking a function to ensure that you know what you are getting!!

If there was a higher mark for the service i would have given the maximum every time, the manageress is the best ever she worked her socks off to make her guests feel welcome nd comfortable, the cleaner lady was also brilliant they didnt seem to sleep for the 50+ hours that we were there, brilliant.
