Lovely hotel, food excellent, staff great...... BUT we were told that we were above the Spa and they couldn't change our room as they were full. This after booking months ago! Went to bed early and had to listen to music accompanying the fitness classes. Three men stood outside our door, near the lift, from 12.15 to 12.45am. talking. Finally...

We were guests at a wedding at this hotel but would come here again as it was so nice. It is an older hotel with lots of character and lovely grounds. Our room was a deluxe which was not much more than a standard room and was much bigger. It has a spa which we used and was very good. The...

This is a nice ''old house'' type hotel, in a very good setting. The staff are very friendly and obliging, and our room was large and extremely clean, with a large comfortable bed, and was at the rear of the building, looking down onto the expansive lawn and trees. This area is kept very tidy too. The only things that...

This hotel boasts an array of beautiful gardens etc, as well as an "old world charm", which makes this place very quaint. The staff go out of their way to answer any questions, as well as tend to any needs very quickly. The hotel offers an excellent gym, as well as outstanding food. With only 40 rooms, attention to detail...

On arrival at the hotel we were a bit disappointed in the room we were given I am a Best Western Rewards card holder and thought we could have had a slightly better one. We then learned that there was a wedding on the Saturday night and it was fully booked so understood the room situation. Having said that when...

Stay here during the weekend of the Open at St Andrews with 3 friends, I could not ask for more from this hotel, its not the most incredible hotel in terms of the image and the decor, but the staff were absolutely brilliant, the room was spotless, the shower was lovely, bed was comfy. It's exactly what you expect for...

My husband and I stay in this hotel every time we visit this part of Scotland and really love the relaxed and friendly welcome we receive from the staff. The rooms in the new part of the hotel are very comfortable and clean, there is plenty of parking and the breakfast is delicious. There is a lovely garden area for...
