We ate here over Christmas. Never again the food was really disappointing more like school dinners. Bland and unappetising. However the thing that made up for it somewhat was the staff. They were really friendly & professional & couldn't do enough for you.

I stayed overnight to attend a family reunion in the town. I was made to feel very welcome, the staff were attentive and friendly, ever ready to be of help. I enjoyed one of the hotels famous "High Teas". Never having sampled one of these before, I was puzzled to be presented with toast and butter and jam before my...

Once taken into the function suite for our meal again staff were attentive and friendly. We had 4 children and 6 adults there. Every meal ordered was delicious....

At the weekend we took our youngest grandson with us for our visit to the Victoria Hotel. My wife and I have been patrons of the hotel for over thirty years now but did not realise that we had not previously taken him with us. Being a typical 13yrs old boy he knows what he wants and naturally it will...

Came here for a family dinner and was surprised at how nice it was. The food we had is some of the nicest food I've had whilst eating out, portions were massive and not expensive either. Didn't have to wait long at all between courses and the staff were really friendly. Even though I'm not from Kirkcaldy, I would definitely...

I am from Falkirk and had to organise a 90th birthday surprise lunch in Kirkcaldy for 30 people. By chance on a plane going to Portugal in September I got chatting to the chap sitting next to me. He was from Kirkcaldy! He recommended this place, telling me it's history. Without visiting it, I phoned when I returned from holiday....

The hotel is an extended former private house and our room was clearly the 'master bedroom'. Acres of space for a large comfortable bed, fitted wardrobes, and massive bay window with a settee and two armchairs. The bathroom was clean and functional - but I did find the shower to be more of a Fife drizzle than a powerful blast....

We visited here for high tea on a Sunday evening. The greeting was friendly and the waiter chatted to my two boys with ease. Toast and tea came promptly and was refilled midway through the meal. We had plenty of room as they put a little side table onto the main table for all of the cakes (which included some...
