I am delighted to have chosen Yorkston as our base for our recent trip to St Andrews. We were warmly welcomed by Catrina, who gave us a map and some information about the town before being shown to our large beautifully decorated room. We really appreciated all the thoughtful extras in the room and the massive bed that was so...

I visited St. Andrew's and Yorkston Guesthouse with my sister during a busy week for golfers in September. The hosts were not at the desk when we arrived, and we hardly saw them for more than a few minutes during our stay though they were kindly. Our twin room was well-lit and appointed with a large bathroom and wall-to-wall carpets...

Stayed here during the 2015 Open Championship. I cannot comment highly enough on the brilliant accommodation offered here. Each morning a large buffet of cereals, fruits and pastries are on offer before an excellent breakfast tailored to your tastes. Coffee and snacks are available to guests throughout the day. Rooms cleaned thoroughly daily. If would definitely stay here again!

I visited St Andrews alone for work and stayed in the least expensive room at the Yorkston (a single bed without en suite). The location is very convenient, and Catrina and Fiona were incredibly friendly without being the least bit obtrusive. I will happily stay at the Yorkston the next time I visit.

We spent 5 nights in the Yorkston House and it was a great stay. The accommodations were very comfortable, the service was great and they offer an outstanding breakfast that caters to dietary restrictions

We traveled to St. Andrews specifically for golf (my husband and 2 sons). I tagged along as the photographer mostly. We stayed at this B&B and it met all of our expectations. We had 2 rooms and we had everything we needed and more. The breakfast was marvelous. All 4 of us were totally happy. It is within walking distance...

It is true!!! If Guest Houses are to be rated like Hotels, Yorkston should be classified as Five-Star. Very clean, excellent breakfast, nice room, good service. Exactly what we need to have a good stay. The management pays really good attention to all the details in the room and other facilities. We appreciated that the Guest House also accommodated our...
