A group of us stayed in this B&B (8) recently for 3 nights while golfing at St. Andrews. The hosts Michael and Chris were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The B&B is very clean, and nicely decorated and only 400m from the 1st tee at the old course. Breakfast was between 7.30 and 9 each morning with good choice...

Myself and some friends recently stayed with at Lorimer House whilst playing golf. The hosts Michael and Chris are brilliant, nothing is a problem.. even changing tee times for us to suit flights. the Guest House is immaculate and is only 2 minutes walk to the 1st tee on the Old course and a 5 minute walk to the town...

The Lorimer, and its hosts Chris and Mick, provided a great base for our short stay in St Andrews with our American friends. Yes the weather was good and kind allowing us to walk around the city and its golf facilities. But the highlight for all of us was The Lorimer -- it's friendly, wonderfully situated and has great facilities....

We booked Lorimer House for a golf trip to St. Andrews recommended by friends and where not disappointed. Along with 6 other friends we where looked after extremely well by Michael & Christene in their B&B. Michael was extremely good by advising us which courses to play and making it stress free to play the Old Coarse. Chris cooked a...

Excellent hosts , very knowledgable on the area . My room was very comfortable , excellent value for money and less than 2 minutes walk to the old course clubhouse. Worth a revisit for the breakfast though . Excellent , keep up the good work . They even managed to sort some lovely weather out !!!!

Great location and Mick was a wonderful host and very knowledgeable with local tips and golfing advice. The room I shared was filled with its 2 single beds and was between the kitchen and dining room but not too noisy - although the bathroom was incredibly small but very very clean. I'd say definitely a better choice for golfers than...

The good: Was clean and bathroom and room size good and breakfast was nice. The not so good: Felt the welcome was not great. (maybe we came at the wrong time)? Tried to make conversation but the guy was just interested to tell us what he felt we needed to know, like breakfast was served between 8-9am if any later...

Was very disappointed to see the Sellicks did not enjoy their one night visit. A bit mystified with their comments about arrival time as they phoned to say they would arrive early which I told them to come straight to the Guest House. The room was our deluxe twin en-suite room and they were charged £90 the normal November rate...

We had to arrive about 10pm ready for the St Andrews university open day the following day and the owners couldn't have been more accommodating. The breakfast was delicious, well cooked, lots of offer though we chose the full Scottish each morning with haggis, of course, The room was clean, information easy to find, advice given if requested. I would...

Mick and Chris. Wow, what a wonderful time we had staying at the Lorimer House. Everything was perfect and what a great host and hostess you two were. I can't say enough about how welcome you made us feel in your lovely home. Literally I felt at home after one day and after four days, I felt like I was...
