Great location but run down badly - I think this hotel is closing as it has been taken over and will re open as a 5* luxury hotel spa after refurbishment. Given the location, which is prime, I guess the price will go up considerably.

The hotel itself is looking a little tired but very well situated in St. Andrews, close to all attractions. I thought there was private parking but it is a public carpark which is free but obviously getting a spot took time. The room was very comfortable, warm, cosy and clean. The shower was a little hit and miss in the...

We stayed at this hotel for one night. On checking in they had the wrong room details however this was quickly sorted out and we got a double room. We got a good half-board deal however we were surprised to learn that the kitchen was closing at 6pm which we found strange therefore we didn't have dinner. The room was...

Hotel in good location (walking distance to the castle and cathedrale). Rooms are very small and run down. No lift available. We stayed on the second floor and had to carry our bags up. Breakfast with limited choices.Too expensive for what was on offer.

The hotel is situated on one of the main streets in St Andrews which is very close to the shops and only about a 15 minute walk or so away from West Sands beach! Our room cost £144 for one night (shared between 3 people - so not too badly priced). Unfortunately when we first went into our room it...

Arrived hungry and tired. Chose to eat dinner in the pub. Was told that the chef normally doesn't cook pub food. Ordered entrée wasn't complete with all ingredients. No info regarding missing food...we had to point it out...no apology, no compensation, poor service and very strange personnel.

Came here for a weekend away from Edinburgh, staff were friendly with a great breakfast included!! Best part was our lovely room with a huge bath and separate room with a couch and tv, way more than we were expecting for a room on a budget! We will definitely be booking if we come back up for the weekend.

It must b 10 years since we last had lunch here & the decor didn't seem much different, but I was still sucked in by the Haggis Bon Bons. First issue was one member of our party had spotted something they fancied on the bar menu, so we asked if we could order this while dining in the restaurant but...
