Top guest house, lovely room. Friendly hosts, who bend over backwards to make your stay as easy as possible. One minute from the iconic 18th green of the Old Course - the perfect place to stay for playing golf or just enjoying St. Andrews town.

We stayed 2 nights and we wished we could have stayed more. The room was stylish and clean. The breakfast was very tasty and there was a big selection of cereals, fruits and juices. The location is perfect within walking distance of the Old course, the beach, the castle and the cathedral. I would definetely go back to this B&B....

An excellent B&B in the centre of St Andrews. Warm friendly welcome, lovely clean and fresh bedroom and ensuite. The breakfast is very good - great service and high quality food with a choice of very good continental-style and cooked food. If you have long hair, bring your own hairdryer as the wall-mounted one in the shower room is ineffective....

Convenient to the Old Course and a short walk to shopping, restaurants and sights, Nethan house satisfied the golfer and non-golfing spouse. The room was on the smallish side, but clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and with adequate storage and a nice in-room bathroom. Free wireless a plus. Great breakfast with lots of cold choices as well as the excellent hot...

We stayed for a night for our anniversary recently and couldn't have stayed anywhere nicer. We had a huge room, tastefully decorated with amazing bay windows. The attention to detail was lovely from the extras in the bathroom to the plasma tv and fridge. The owners were lovely and breakfast was amazing. Not only was there a buffet with everything...

This is a lovely guesthouse which we chanced upon when our booked guesthouse was unavailable. Although we had to pay more than we had planned (our booked B&B was twenty pounds cheaper) we were pleased with our stay. It is of a good hotel standard with nice little touches in the bedroom - cotton buds, cleansing pads, handcream, mints etc,...

Whether you are a golfer or tourist, this is the place you have to stay when in St Andrews. The house is located two blocks from the Old Course and within walking distance of other attractions and dining. Brian, Linzie, and Rebecca were always smiling and willing to help. The food was outstanding, the rooms clean and efficient, we felt...

We stayed in a number of guest houses in Ireland and Scotland during a two week holiday, and the Nethan House was the best! The room was bright, cheery and very clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect. It is convenient and very close walking distance to just about everything there is to see in St. Andrews....

We came across the place at random, since we´d been searching for a b&b for almost 45 minutes after arriving at St.Andrews. Owner is very friendly and gave us good tips for dinner and sightseeing. Bed and Breakfast is like two minutes stroll from the Golf course. It has been recently refurbished and the whole place smells like new. Rooms...

The accomodations at Nethan Guest House provided the perfect location for our group of five couples to see the Open Championship played at The Old Course. The food was divine. Linzi makes her own jams, lemon curd, gingerbread, pound cake, and banana bread to start your morning. Then comes the hot cooked breakfast! She and Rebecca prepared dinners for us...
