I agree with all these other answers. And the walk to the station is through a very pleasant area of lovely older houses. We went leisurely after breakfast and therefore were able to get a return "out of rush hour" rate... More
I agree with all these other answers. And the walk to the station is through a very pleasant area of lovely older houses. We went leisurely after breakfast and therefore were able to get a return "out of rush hour" rate that amounted to £2 return.
We also did a good walk in the area to an Italian restaurant on West Paisley Road. Again, John can show you the route. The food was worth the walk and it was reasonable price wise. After the second day on the Hop On bus we were tired so we picked up some food to reheat at the Marks and Spencer's in the train station. There are wines and other beverages there and enough for a good choice.
