This hotel is clean, well decorated, welcoming and has great facilities for the price of the room. The hotel looks as if it has recently been refurbished. The En suite was huge and modern. Bed was comfy and the room more than adequate. Breakfast was included and this ranged from cereals to a fully cooked option. Next door was a...

Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, the room was lovely and clean and well equipped. Great location for getting around Glasgow, near to plenty of bars and the Hydro (where we were attending a concert). Good price for the room too. Would recommend the hotel and happily stay there again.

There are so many good things to say about this hotel…that it’s difficult to know where to start! Ok – let’s start with location and presentation. I was in Glasgow recently for work over a period of three days and had spent almost an entire day travelling to the city. I caught the airport to city centre bus and got...

Just returned from a great stay, Roz helped us with the booking originally and through out our stay. She is a great ambassador for this hotel nothing is too much trouble. Nice quiet room with a well stocked tea tray and a wonderful breakfast to start the day. Will book again and look forward to coming back.

Had to stay overnight in Glasgow for a concert and this was a good 15 minute walk from the venue so I chose it, not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. The lovely young blonde receptionist (didn't catch her name, sadly) was extremely helpful, helping to calm my nerves about staying in Glasgow alone (first time staying by myself) and...

The Acorn has friendly, welcoming staff. It is in a great central location and close to some excellent restaurants. The pub next door was pretty good too. The rooms are clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. We didn't have breakfast but it smelled good. Will definitely go back.

Acorn hotel looks from the outside like others in the area.Inside it is finished to a high standard, rooms are clean and comfortable with great en suite. The only gripe is parking,it's on parking meters, and space is limited as most of the area is residential.Arrive if you can, after six at night as it's only £1.00 all night.
