Had a fantastic stay at the Acorn Hotel last weekend. The hotel looked a bit rundown from outside but inside it was lovely. The rooms were so much bigger than I expected and came complete with a hairdryer and GHDs (fantastic idea!) I had a great nights sleep and was not bothered by any external noise. We had breakfast included...

Thank you for your valued review, we can only apologise for staff smoking in the vicinity of the dining room, let me assure you that they have been reprimanded and hopefully this will not happen again.

This hotel was amazing. It was in a good location, offered paid parking across the street, and check-in was seamless. Our towels were even warmed on the towel warmer when we arrived! The rooms are very modern and sleek looking. We had a big window in our room, which was nice because the room was very hot! Our room even...

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend and can't fault it. Room was nice, staff were nice, can't say anything about food as we booked a room only and to top it of there are Ghd straighteners in the room! It's also just a 5 minute walk from the city centre ! Will visit again :)

Lovely little Hotel, Modern and relatively spacious, equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, plenty of space to hang clothes, a safe and drawers a plenty. The staff are very helpful and very pleasant to talk to, we booked a standard double room which was absolutely spotless, the bathroom was the cleanest we've been in so far, large and modern perhaps just...

Hotel had great facilities with very modern room which had flat screen tv, hair straighteners and a lovely fresh en-suite bathroom. The only downside to the hotel for me was the bar underneath which you could hear in to the early hours but i would imagine this was because i was on ground floor but all in all it didnt...

Really nice little hotel about 15 minutes walk from the SECC and really close to the excellent pubs, bars and restaurants of the West End of Glasgow. Room well appointed with decent fittings and well-thought through layout. Not huge (I'd intentionally booked a single room, so no arguments there) but perfectly good. I was directly above the pub in the...

Conveniently located in an upmarket, relatively quiet, part of the city. About 15 minutes walk to city centre and, in other direction, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum. Very modern, stylish and comfortable. Our room was small, but well-appointed with TV, hairdryer, kettle etc. The bed linen and towels were pure white and high quality. The whole place was clean. The...

Stayed here when attending a wedding in Glasgow. We requested early check in and were told they would do their best but could not guarantee it. The e-mail stated an additional charge may be added for this, it did not state it will be added. I thought that since they could not guarantee the early check in it would have...

I am sorry if you were confused over our early check in policy. We do make a small charge for early check in, as do most hotels. Early check in requires us to bring in cleaning staff earlier at additional cost. We do try our best to accommodate guests requests for early check in, but cannot guarantee it, we dont...
