The location very good: walking distance to city centre. The hotel looks really nice and modern: nice design, fancy shower. But the shower was not very good, wasn't getting very hot. Breakfast was 'ok', not very good quality of the food. I must the say we had a good price.

Nice enough hotel, little details let it down, moths/flys in the ceiling lampshade, leaky shower, light bulbs not working, bathroom sink not cleaned each day and guilty of one of my pet hates Pre-authorising your credit card and then putting through a new sale leaving your cc balance down for a week until it gets reversed, which could potentially leave...

The Acorn hotel has everything you would need for a short break in Glasgow. Spotlessly clean very good breakfast friendly staff and in a good location and at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend. While staying there you couldn't go far wrong than visit Scramouche next door. Delicious food and the best staff so helpful and suggested many places for...

Short walk from centre of town, friendly and efficient welcome. Comfortable, spacious rooms, modern, tastefully decorated. And spotless. Tasty breakfast. You would have to look hard for better value for money. Looking forward to my next visit already.

Attractive room modern decor. Staff good enough. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. However second morning of trip no hot water in room, apparently too many people were having a shower, pretty poor effort really

This is a well situated, comfortable hotel which I would recommend for a stay in Glasgow. The staff were very helpful and breakfast was good. The only difficulty was finding the hotel by car through the one way system.

To start on arrival not the friendliest of welcomes by the staff. No offer of help with luggage, showing us to our room. Handle on fire door was damaged on arrival but hanging on. When returned in the evening it was broken off. Reported to reception who came straight up and had a look. This made it hard to get...

Friendly helpful reception staff, smart, elegant hotel for a great price. Its in a lovely Georgian area of Glasgow near Kelvingrove Park which is well worth a stroll and a visit. Hotel, area and city highly recommended for an unforgettable trip!

I ended up at this hotel by accident, because no other accommodation was free at the time - a LibDem conference took place in town, and it was the first week of term where all the parents take their children up to university. As someone had cancelled short-notice, I was able to get a room at the Acorn. I was...
