The room was a good size, with shower and tea and coffee facilities. In the area around the Glasgow House is a bar/ restaurant right across the street and a lovely little bakery on the corner where you can sit in. There are also other bars and restaurants close by with shops also.

We turned up at the hotel looks like a run down hostel from outside and a from the inside and the rooms really need sorting out but the beds where clean and the room served its purpose. Only down fall was it says it had wifi and it did not!

My partner and I paid £208 for a two-night stay at this 'hotel'. We felt that we had been conned. The room was in the basement and stank of damp and mould. It had not been cleaned thoroughly - there was litter (including an empty two-litre bottle of Fanta) under the bed. There was no wifi signal. The room was...

The room was filthy and freezing. The radiator wouldn't turn on and there was a huge crack in the window frame, letting all the cold air in. The room hadn't been cleaned and, to my disgust, there was a piece of moldy corn in the corner of the room. I was only there for ten minutes, but they refused to...

Having read the reviews I was a bit wary but it was ideally located for the Kelvingrove Park and the two museums I wanted to visit. The hotel is ok and although the car parking is a nightmare, I found the lady at reception pleasant and she was polite and helpful. I had changed my booking and was due a...

Reasonable price but is clear why, Room was dirty with nasty looking green hair like stuff on the cabinet and awoke to find myself with red itchy spots over my body most likely due to fleas, will not be returning!

I recently stayed here in Glasgow House. Check in was very efficient. I got a very early check in. Thank you to the Romanian girl for that. Nice room too. Location is very good. The linen is also very clean. Nice widescreen television in the room too. Would recommend.

My partner and I booked this as part of an Expedia deal, along with flights, because we needed to be up in Glasgow for some flat viewings. We chose the cheapest deal on Expedia as we were only staying for a night, and were pleasantly surprised. The check-in procedure was thorough, and our basement room was surprisingly light. The room...

Well for the price of £25 for the both of us I was a wee bit apprehensive . But in all honesty it is what it is. I found the room clean, roomy, comfortable bed and in reasonable decorative state. The ensuite was quite nice (except for them dam energy bulbs that take 3 weeks to light up). All in all a...
