Hi there 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Just wanted to say a big Thank You to all your staff in Sky Bar they were superb. I had an original booking for afternoon tea on 15 January. Unfortunately, I had to reschedule this as my friend had tested positive for Covid. Our rescheduled date was for today (29th January). Once again we were faced with having to cancel as my friend was still suffering after effects of Covid. Rather than cancel I made a ‘cheeky’ call to The Sky Bar and asked if it was possible for the afternoon tea to be boxed for collection. Radisson to the Rescue - no problem I was told and true to their word - there it was all ready to go when I arrived. My friend knew nothing about this and was delighted when I dropped the afternoon tea off at her house. A nice wee ‘Pick Me Up’ so thanks a million Radisson Red you are all stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Evelyn Clark…
I stayed for 1 night recently with my husband and daughter..... we booked in at short notice and needed to check in asap (10 in the morning). I made the booking online and phoned the hotel shorty after. I explained I needed to check in early and if that was possible,. the kind gentleman on the phone explained to come ahead and check in, if there was a room ready they would allocate it to us and if not, they would be able to store our bags for us. Upon arrival, we were met by the ever so friendly and lovely Julie who was so professional, informative and overall showed extreme enthusiasm and professionalism in her work. We were lucky that a room was ready that we could check into right away. Check in was fast and we made our way to a simply out of this world room with a stunning view of the Hydro arena. we stayed in room 523 and simply felt like VIP's with such a stunning room. The room was pristine with the highest standard of hygiene ever!!. Room was equipped with all the perks, coffee machine, hair dryer. iron, iron board, 52inch (I think lol) Smart TV, fridge, safe.... the full works!. Along with toiletries in the bathroom. Shampoo, conditioner, lotions etc. HUGE praise for the accommodation team, who clearly take pride in their work to turn these rooms around and have them in such stunning condition for their guests. They are often the unsung heroes of hotels as they work mostly behind the scenes and get little to no encounters with guests. but here at this hotel, they deserve to have their work recognized and commended. Later that day we made our way to the RED Bar on the 9th floor overlooking the arena and enjoyed a drink in a bright, vibrant, energetic and overall happy surroundings. The staff were so helpful and just seemed so happy in their work. making friendly chit chat and just so happy to help in any way they could. We ate in the hotel restaurant that evening, where we served by the lovely Emma. Again, just so professional, kind and bubbly to speak to. Checked on us regularly and couldn't do enough for us. our meal (butter chicken tikka) was simply stunning! so fresh and tender with just the right size portion to allow for enough room to indulge in the ever so tasty sticky toffee pudding dessert ;) I could not fault the restaurant service if I tried! it was simply 10/10. Again, the same at breakfast the following morning. The food was fresh and delicious was an abundance of choice. between traditional fries, continental, cereals, sweet or savory menu choices, fresh juices, huge selection of croissants and sweet treats.... there was nothing spared and all so so so fresh!!!. I noted that even though we went for breakfast between 9 and 10, which seemed to be the busiest time, the staff were still so friendly, professional and swift in their work. The busy morning rush didn't seem to hinder them at all. One thing that really stood out for me with this hotel in comparison to other hotels I have stayed in, was their sense of inclusion. I had my 9 year old daughter with me, and every time we spoke with a member of staff they all spoke directly to her as well and conversed with her 1 to 1. when taking our orders in the bar, at dinner and at breakfast, we were all asked individually what we would like, our daughter included. The staff really went above and beyond to make us ALL feel welcome and included in our stay and i cannot commend them enough. Overall, 10/10. Just simply amazing! I am not from Scotland, but if i ever return to Glasgow in the future, I know where I will be staying!! ;)…
Came in for a few drinks today and had an amazing time!!! Customer service was great too, Charlie and Joseph were super lovely and friendly especially. Charlie’s hair was particularly gorgeous as well ;)
Night would have been near perfect if it wasn't for being woken by sound of running water from somewhere else in hotel, then loud drilling around 9am Monday morning. Rooms good, food good, typical hotel prices.
Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean. Unfortunately, it was very busy and the standard of food was poor, both in sky bar and breakfast. Food undercooked at breakfast, long wait for toaster as only one working. Overall breakfast was not edible.
Had a fantastic afternoon tea at the sky bar. The view was worth the visit, the food was good and Stevie was excellent! Great service and banter. Thank you for a great outing. We'll be back again soon
Best Jd EvEr customer service on point! Bailey was fantastic super helpful and smiley thank u bailey, red sky bar was amazing sky high sling was perfection. Thank u sky bar and bailey for a great night
I stayed at Radisson RED Hotel for two nights from 08 October 2022. After that, I stayed there three times in October and November 2022 for a total of five nights. I chose the Radisson RED because it is directly opposite the OVO Hydro venue in the SEC complex, where I attended several concerts. The 4-star rating is not entirely justified, and l thought it was closer to an upper-level 3-star hotel. The Room The room was well-presented and spotlessly clean. There was a smattering of maintenance issues in the main room and bathroom that were left unattended to, but thankfully they did not impair their usability. There was no armchair and only a bench with several plastic seats, which meant l had to use the bed to relax. The bed was slightly firm, supportive and afforded a comfortable night’s sleep. The Radisson RED beat the nearby Marriott Courtyard Glasgow SEC Hotel (which I also stayed at) for my bed comfort preference. The lighting array made the room somewhat gloomy for my liking. There were four shaded downlighters above the bench in front of the window. Unfortunately, two of the light units were “dummies” and did not illuminate. l agree with other reviewers’ comments that the light cluster was a head collision hazard when you sit at the bench and get up. The TV’s “connect my device” Chromecast function was clunky, but after ten minutes, l managed to get it to work. The Nespresso® coffee machine and sachets did take the complimentary refreshments up to the next level. The empty fridge is a great asset if you bring your own drinks. The bathroom was a generous size with a solid door and opaque walls. The rain shower is an experiential attribute. The liquid toiletries were in “RED” brand, generic bottles, which is what I would have expected at a Premier Inn, not a 4-star hotel. The issue with that was I did not know what the products were, so I could assess if my skin would react against them. No labelling indicated the products were hypoallergenic. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend you bring your own toiletries. The Common Areas As others have said in reviews, the RED design philosophy is undoubtedly quirky. I thought it tried too hard to be “cool”, and some people may find it overbearing. l suspect the theme will date quite quickly. However, I did like the music references throughout the interiors. The Staff The staff were friendly, down-to-earth, helpful when approached and generally held themselves to good account. However, there is scope for improvement. l returned to the hotel after one of the OVO Hydro concerts and visited the Radisson RED’s OUIBar + KTCHN on the ground floor. l sat there for twenty minutes, and no staff member asked me if l needed anything. Literally, all they did was clear away a few empty drinks glasses. Three staff wandered aimlessly, moving backwards and forwards through the space; it was almost comical. The breakfast staff were slack on the service front, always proactive with a first contact, but after that, I usually needed to go and find them to ask for anything. There was no excuse for such a lackadaisical service as there was plenty of staff roaming around. Dining The buffet breakfast was served in the OUIBar + KTCHN and offered a good selection of food of acceptable quality, as well as fruit drinks. A hot vegetarian breakfast was available on request, in addition to what was set out in the buffet. The breakfast was not superior to that offered at the 3-star Marriott Courtyard Glasgow SEC Hotel across the road. That aside, the offer was closer to what one would expect at a Premier Inn and struggled to meet 4-star standards. There was nothing significant to tip the balance of my buffet breakfast assessment in an unfavourable direction; it was about the detail. The Red Sky Bar on the top floor had a lively atmosphere in the evening. Hotel guests were given preferential access when it was busy. However, if you want to enjoy the night view of the River Clyde after a concert, it is essential to book a table by the window in advance. The Location The Radisson RED’s proximity to the SEC OVO Hydro or Armadillo makes it the perfect choice if you will attend events at either venue and want to stay in Glasgow overnight without travelling back to the city centre.…

We went to the misberaving night as a group of 10 girls for 40th birthday celebrations, we booked the overnight bed and breakfast option and we were blown away with the night! Beautiful rooms with the most amazing views and comfy beds, service was amazing from check in to bar and breakfast and Graeme looked after us so well making our birthday night out one to remember, the music and atmosphere were brilliant and we danced all night! The open roof terrace was great for a.wee break and photo op! Cassie done a grand job of keeping the best tunes on and the dancers were fab! We will definitely be back and would recommend for something cool to do in Glasgow with friends or as a couple! 100%
