Great central location, practically next door to the train station. And adjacent to the main taxi rank. Rooms were fresh, clean and very tidy. Love the styling of the Motel One chain. They are stylist rooms and hotels on a budget. The only negative from this hotel compared to others of the same brand we have stayed in, is that the bar was lacking. We couldn't get a glass of Rose or beer than wasn't in a bottle. This wouldn't stop up staying again if we were in the area.
Very central location, easy access to transport, and great value for money compared to other budget hotels. Lobby is very nicely designed although a little deceiving, as the guest rooms are much more simple and basic. The reception staff were nice and friendly.
We spent 2 nights between Christmas and New Year in Glasgow Motel One. Its a stylist hotel but with very reasonable prices for a city centre location. Its only a few minutes walk from either of the 2 main railway stations or bus station. The reception / lounge area is very welcoming. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and it was excellent. I would certainly have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.
This was above my expectations. Firstly spotless well proportioned room with nice teas and coffee. Fantastic wet room with brilliant shower. The hairdryer was excellent and not like the terrible hotel ones you normally find. Breakfast was plentiful eggs and full continental selection. Really nice staff and we stayed over xmas and the room was even serviced xmas day. Lovely stay as we just needed a peaceful xmas and certainly was easy to do that here
Excellent and helpful staff. Rooms were clean. Breakfast is continental but varied. Bar prices are extremely reasonable. Great location for shopping in Glasgow. Car parking is easy - NCP is 2 minute walk and it is £9 for 24 hours. Would recommend.
We stayed here for two nights at the start of December. Check in queue was quite big, but didn’t take too long. The rooms are definitely snug, but they were nice, and given we weren’t planning on spending long in it, it was more than good enough. The hotel is nice, and the bar area is probably the nicest bit. We had a couple of drinks when we got back one of the nights, and it was busy with a good atmosphere. Only disappointing part is they have no draft beer. The hotel’s location is excellent, and couldn’t be more central. All in all we would stay again if the price was right.
Stayed for a couple of nights. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, really central location & great view from the 11th floor. Rooms have everything you need. Enjoyed our stay. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
This is a beautiful place to stay, the furnishings are beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly! It doesnt matter that they don't do cooked breakfasts as there are plenty of places to eat round about Motel One and we would definitely return to stay again. The only downside we found was that there could have been more bar staff as the bar was extremely busy but all in all we had a great stay!
Excellent - great location Really comfy bed Clean rooms Excellent and atmospheric lounge/bar area Friendly and helpful reception staff I would recommend upgrading to superior just because of the size of the room. Fantastic value for money
Absolutely amazing. Have been here twice now, the rooms are beautiful and clean, and service is impeccable. The staff are really friendly and it’s a great location. Booking at short notice-we had a lovely room and beautiful city view. Cheap rooms are great size and are so comfortable.
