Hotel was easy to check in, pleasant staff. Lovely food, Beautiful breakfast. Comfortable stay. Would like to see a fridge in the rooms. Spa in need of a deep clean. Also needs someone who cleans it regularly. Ladies changing room was dirty as was shower up stairs at sauna. Pool was clean. Staff member Ronan in spa done a great job being left to run reception on his own this was clearly a busy job. Spa needs attention as does lockers.
We visited Glasgow as a family. Two adults, two teenagers. The hotel was really busy, though the service was excellent and the breakfasts fab. My son is coeliac and this is the best place he's ever stayed for gluten free breakfast. We chose the hotel due to having a car park, gym and pool. My son said the gym was very small - bit of a shame the leisure club is on the ground floor and you have to walk slightly through reception. It was a bit odd, that there wasn't any soap at all in the bathrooms - we had two rooms. When I asked at reception, they gave us body wash. I think it was a covid issue, but we've stayed elsewhere and had soap. As we arrived late one night, we had limited early breakfast option the following day, despite being Honours member. It would be great if you could book your breakfast slot online beforehand, like you can your rooms. We booked later for the following days though. The bar was lovely and the prices weren't that expensive either, which surprised me.…
Me and my friend had a late Xmas afternoon tea at the double tree by Hilton. The whole experience was made an absolute delight because of Connor who served us. He was so pleasant and friendly and checked on us regularly to top up what we needed. Best service I've received in such a long time. Thank u so much Connor, you deserve a wage rise and a promotion. We will be back.
Myself and my mother in law did went for the Prosecco afternoon tea and Connor was a lovely server. Very attentive and amazing personality, great guy. Food was lovely and drinks were flowing. Venue was lovely also. Highly recommend,
Stayed here for a night with my mum. The menu in the restaurant was very detailed with a range of options on it to cater for all. I would highly recommend the Tikka. Staff were lovely and room was clean. I liked the wooden QR code cube that was in the room, a nice twist to save paper. Also a special mention to Eve who was out waitress.
We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4. The hotel is in a great location with parking, very friendly staff. The room was a great size and clean. Breakfast was amazing. The only downside to our stay was the cleanliness of the swimming area, it could really do with a good scrub. If you are looking for an overnight in a central location this is a great hotel, just avoid the pool.
Had a excellent visit, hotel staff are amazing. We are only half way through our visit and already staff have been amazing especially Meghan, Ramee and Liam they was absolutely brilliant 👏 gave us directions and helped us find our way within the hotel and out. Hotel welcome gift cookie tastes amazing. I would definitely come again and recommend this hotel to anyone including family. Breakfast if superb 😋 entertainment is great and a all round excellent hotel , swimming pool like a warm bath absolutely lovely 😍 once again thank you so so much to Liam, meghan and rhamee you are so good at your job and a highly respected and talented staff member and we can't thank you all enough for making our trip special 😊 xx
The hotel is in a great location in the city centre and walking distance to a subway station and Queen Street Railway station as well as shops, theatre, cinemas, restaurants and bars. Staff were friendly but there were a couple of points which weren’t so good. Our room was very cold and we spoke to someone on reception about this just before going for dinner and going out for the evening. He said he would have someone from maintenance look at it. When we got back around 11pm it was clear nothing had been done as the room was still cold. As we were tired we went to bed without making a complaint, although ended up having to put more layers on the bed to keep warm. We reported this when we checked out and were told a note would be made for maintenance. No offer of a discount or anything else to make up for it. Very disappointing. Also, we ate in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. There is a sign at the entrance stating that no football colours were allowed. It seems the staff don’t read that sign as we saw people in football shirts but worse (in my opinion), wearing pyjamas to breakfast! Not what I’d expect from a four star hotel.…
Amazing stay at the hotel! Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Abbey in the bar/restaurant is a credit to the Hilton group. She made the finest cocktails along with everything else..Great trip and will certainly be returning again very soon. Good food, drink and hotel room!
Great stay in the doubletree!! All staff were brillant and a huge thank you to Raymond and Abbie in the executive lounge! They were attentive, welcoming and helpful cant thank them enough. Would recommend to stay here!
