Stayed here often on my own. Never told no bar or restaurant, unsure why as most are open. No putting room to rights . Hotel was deserted, I booked for 3 nights but stayed for 2 . Only saw one person at front desk. Think I will find a new place next time

Lovely people, clean room, lovely view out onto the pond. Brilliant place to stop off. It has decent parking that is close to the door. Only slight issue was the shower not having a label on but was easy enough to figure out how to use it.

Check in not very pleasant. Booked two rooms and was asked for an email address. Then I was asked for another email address for the different room. I asked can I not provide the same one and I was barked at and told off “it’s for track and trace!!!” Room was tired and dusty. Raised a complaint and this was replied to professionally. Good location. Next to a BP garage with an M&S inside. Taxi rank outside hotel. Bed comfy though.

Firstly, for a hotel in an excellent location, with such modest pricing, plenty cheap parking, its difficult to complain, particularly during the Pandemic. However, we would have been happy to pay a little more if they addressed some issues which significantly affected the quality of our stay. 1. Get mattress toppers for the king size beds as the join between the two single beds is uncomfortable. 2. Paint the bedrooms. 3. Replace a good number of the baths with walk in showers- a lot of people much prefer a shower and the bathrooms are small. 4. As others have said, the water temperature is unstable, going from warm, to very hot tgen cool. 5. Fix the TV system so that all free to air TV channels are available instead of just a few. For the price of an overnight stay, points 2, 3 and 5 can be tolerated, but not the unstable water temperature and uncomfortable bed. The other saving grace of this hotel is the staff. They are truly outstanding.

Very decent for the money- you get what you pay for. Not the most luxurious but also not ugly it’s good if you want a last minute hotel like me and my friend did. Bed was an absolute delight to sleep in, very comfy and cosy. Room had a kettle, tea etc so that was quite nice. Bathroom was a decent size it had a few mirrors and the lightening was also amazing. One thing to note is that the room does feel a wee bit chilly during the night. Apart from that can’t complain will be back.
