I could give this a 3+ but not quite a 4. We had a car and parking was difficult, though not all that expensive. Tartan theme in the room we were in. Small bath. Clean room. Arrived too early but staff let us stow our luggage until we could get into the room. Breakfast was fine. Convenient location.

Great location, food disappointing no choice for main course, service was great, and we all had a great time. some of the rooms are a bit tired but clean. Cleaning service every day was very good. The bar was a franchise attached to the hotel, and LORRIE ( Chris) provided a fantastic service to until very early i the morning...

I had a really comfortable stay at the Argyll. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave great suggestions and the room was very comfortable even though it was quite narrow, but as a small, short person, that didn't bother me. I actually had a terrible migraine on my third day there and I had to spend most of...

I originally reserved a twin room but after requesting a room with a tub it seemed they upgraded to a triple. Extra bed was handy for a big suitcase and there was a table and chairs by the window. Room also had a desk. Both bathroom and room were clean and breakfast was good! Only recommendation would be to give...

Wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this (2 rooms). Well, if you like personality and quirkiness, you'll love the Argyll! This is an older, not fancy hotel, well situated near the University and not too far from the M8. We had the HUGE "Mackenzie Clan" room, complete with clan history, curtains and trim. Very clean with recent upgrades...

It does not look very appealing from outside or once you get in the lobby, but it has updated, nicely decorated (each one with the colors of a clan, we stayed at the Stewart's room) and spacious rooms. Clean rooms, with a small, but updated bathroom. The wi-fi is good. It can get a bit noisy, if your room is...

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our room was large and very comfortable. What made the stay especially memorable was the service the staff provided, especially Erin. She was helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. The hotel is a ways from downtown. Breakfast is not included. It is available for an extra fee. We didn't try it.

Cheap for your wallet but filled with good value: comfy bed, warm large shower, wifi. Stayed over night during a conference visit, enjoyed the proximity to kelvingrove park on a sunny morning. No five stars as breakfast slightly disAppointing: if the coffee would have been better it would be 5 stars.
