Fantastic Experience for Hens from Northern Ireland staying at this hotel for Murder Mystery Night on the Friday and stayed the Saturday night for a chill out night. Rooms clean and welcoming, breakfast first class. Murder mystery night was great, with actors who were hilarious, food good and very attentive staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel as good value for...

Stayed at this hotel a few times and never been dissapointed. Room was spotless, bed comfortable and shower fantastic. The breakfast as always was first class and staff so friendly and helpful. Reception staff always happy to help. Ideal location for City centre and sse hydro. Will definitely be back again soon.

A tartan theme throughout. Rooms recently refurbished. Highlight was the Breakfast and especially the staff. Very helpful when I wanted a non-pork breakfast. Location is great, next to Kelvingrove Museum (500 yards) and with bus stops nearby (inc to/from the airport), it's only a short ride (£1.20) into the centre of Glasgow. I have rebooked already.

We were looking for a decent , reasonably priced option near the Hydro. This is exactly that. A mere 10 minute stroll to the various venues at the SECC it fits the bill perfectly. Really clean, decent breakfast. Only issue was the lumpy mattress with pingy springs. I'd stay here again.

We stayed here for 1 night as we had tickets to a concert at the SSE Hydro Arena. It was about 15 minutes walk away, and about 25 minutes walk into town (although taxis were cheap and efficient - it costs around a fiver to get to Glasgow Central train station) Check-in was efficient and friendly. We had a ground...

We had a great day out and a pleasant stay in the Argyll hotel. The room was clean and tidy and nice and warm. We had the breakfast which was good but as a buffet choice it was a bit cold, there was all you could want for breakfast.

We stayed in room 102 which is a double room on the ground floor. On arrival we were greeted by the very friendly receptionist who told us how to find the room and told us about the breakfast option. The room was very clean and in good decorative order and was a fair size. Being at the back of the...

Most of the decoration is tartan, but I got the Dr Zhivago bondage suite with the Romanov theme - wild rococo silver furniture, heavy blue drapes with thick tassels, and a giant wardrobe with full length mirror directly facing the bed. But it was clean, with a new, well appointed bathroom, and it’s ideally located for exploring Finnieston and the...

I recently stayed here for with a few friends for a girls weekend away. we arrived at the hotel too early to check in but the receptionists were more than happy to store our luggage away for us which was great. The hotel is quite far from the city centre but only took us about 15 mins on foot. Taxis...

I was attending a conference at the SECC, and found the hotels right next door to be a little pricey. I chose the Argyll Hotel via booking.com, as from the reviews it seemed reasonably priced without sacrificing quality, and well-located on Glasgow's Sauchiehall Street. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival at the hotel at around 11pm Friday night....

Dear Sir/Madam Thank you for your positive comments on Tripadvisor. I appreciate your very kind comments relating to your recent stay at the Argyll Hotel. I was very pleased to read you enjoyed everything during your stay. Unfortunately the lift was out of action due to a faulty pump which has been resolved now and the lift is functioning again....
